Great unboxing Shawn. The new Hero 10 seems like a solid upgrade over the Hero 9. I really like that they added the GP2 processor, the Hero 9 had a slow touch screen, especially when it first launched. I’m looking forward to seeing more of the Hero 10 on your channel.

I'm satisfied with my Hero 8 Black and the non-removable lens. But If GoPro made another Hero Session, i would buy it in a heartbeat. Still got and use my Hero Session 4.

I recently got the HERo 9, tbh the difference is not much imo, the hypersmooth already is insanely smooth so yeah, and the frames, wel 1080p60 for yt is perfect

Just any U3 class card will be fine. As the highest bitrate is still 100mbit unfortunately. I'm hoping they add an optional higher bitrate (like 120 or 150mbit) in an update, surely the new chip can handle it

I heard like it has some heating issues and some firmware malfunctioning like it freezes most of the time while shooting and some of the sd-card errors even with the official san disk sd-card which they recommended please help me with this issue i'm planning to buy it but these things gets me a bit confusing

Yes, indeed you will either need the app however, initially to update the firmware. However, if you don’t have access to the app or a smart phone, you can update the firmware manually. There is instructions on the GoPro’s website, but after that, you don’t need the app at all.

Good Video. Note: 1) Bottom of Box = SN - Missed this. 2) You drop volume of your voice. At night, if I turn up the vol to hear you, you suddenly blast out speaking every now and then. Need to keep constant levels when talking or run audio through a LIMITER in post (ideally when recording) then match it back with GP Video in Vegas Pro 19 (PC) or Luma Fusion (iPad).

It is a microphone, especially designed microphone to help water drain out quickly so you have good audio when you come out of the water right away. It’s not a door don’t try and open the door. It will snap off.

The tab, the top of the battery is just a grip to help you get it in and out of the camera. It lays flesh when you inserted in the camera and shut the door.

No, the quick app it’s not required, however, the firmware must be updated before you can use it. So, in that case, you would have to download the firmware manually from the GoPro website copy it to your memory card, turn the camera on, and it will install the update. The Quik app just makes it easier.

One question: I have bought the Hero 10 today and every time I change my cam from 4k30, 1080 2,7k60 to 4k60 5,3k60 the Battery Percentage changes, why is that so? For example 4k30, the cam shows 12% and if I switch to 4k60 it drops to 1%
