Does it come with the SD card? mine didn't. what do we need the card for? to record. You said yours came with it?

Mine says to swipe down but I can’t bc it’s saying to follow the app instructions

just ignore that. Once you click on the app to find the camera it wil lfind it and then u can pair it up.

Can I use the camera without installing anything on the phone? Is it locked like DJI osmo 4 if I don't instal anything?

Mine didn't have me connect to the phone. It had me insert the SD card and reformat it. It reformats then gets stuck checking for sd card.

if it's not connecting to the app automatically, disconnect from any wifi networks on your phone first

Arguably, the hardest part of all this, dude, was opening the battery compartment and you took too little time to show how to do that. Do it again, but better. Thanks.

The Quik app requires payment to install, are there other options? Buying the camera was expensive enough

I never paid for the Quik app. Not sure if this is something new.

1st: I had to use a quarter to open that compartment. cool...👍🏾 2nd: U didn't say which way to insert the little card. Mine is in but WON'T pop out. *EDIT* Not sure if your instructions are off or I got a bs Go Pro 12 Black. But my cam is doing nothing you displayed and NOTHING the app is telling me to do. Back to Best Buy tomorrow for a refund unless I find another video later that helps.
