Today we're going to be looking at the GoPro Hero 3 plus Silver edition. Now the GoPro Hero 3 plus silver edition is the edition between GoPro's top of the line Black Edition and the less expensive White Edition. It has some of the useful features of the Black Edition, like the ability to record 1080p HD video at 60fps which you can use for slow motion, but comes in at a more reasonable price point.
So lets first take a closer look at the GoPro Hero 3 plus silver edition. For starters its tiny and you can appreciate just how tiny the GoPro Hero 3 plus silver edition is when compared to a camcorder or even the iPhone 5S. And its size really adds to its appeal. You can practically mount the GoPro Hero 3 plus silver edition anywhere in several different innovative places, as we'll show you in a few minutes, and capture footage you'd probably never have been able to capture with any other camera.

Hello. I have a silver 3 plus, and I have been having some issues with it. All of my recordings do NOT look 1080, even when I have it set as it. I get my recordings really fuzzy, I'm wondering how you get yours so crisp and clear? Please respond -Nolan

Do you mean 16GB or 16 MB? The recording time is probably being limited by the camera to 20minutes per clip. A 16GB card should be able to store more than 20 minutes. It will just store it as separate clips. Did you format the card before using it?

Studio 32 One of the differences is that the newer entry-level Hero lacks 1080p at 60fps/50fps and can only shoot 1080p video at 30fps. The newer Hero also lacks a Wifi viewfinder and the ability to be controlled remotely via Wifi. The links to both these cameras can be found here: amzn.to/1I6ccmt

+boby selena No it doesn't. But if the card is not rated class 10 or above, your camera might freeze up or stop recording occasionally.

Well, it could be the battery. But extended shooting can make the camera a bit hot. These are small cameras and are usually meant for short shoots.

sandisk extreme pro on my bike outdoors on a bright day.. i can see about the unsteadiness as it was on the fork but the quality is a blurred and not focused on anything

Daredevil Chanda There is very little to no difference between the two cameras for slow motion. They both have the ability to shoot 1080p at 60fps/50fps(PAL) and 720p at 120fps. Hope that answers your question?

At 1080p it will do 50/60fps (Pal/ ntsc). You can slow it down using post-processing software, but not in-camera.
