Hey, would you tell me if Superview is available with 4k 60fps? I am currently on a Hero7 and thinking of upgrading. Thanks

only 4k30 fps mate ;) but it's worth the upgrade anyway ;)

the resolution on the linear+HL almost looks like 2.7k because of all the cropping, compared to the crisp 4k superview footage.

Awesome comparison but I do have a question, why doesn’t your super view looked fish eyed? I seen so many supervise gopro footage where the fish eye effect is very prominent

Thanks for your comment. Well, I guess it depends of the subject you film, here if you look closer on the kart, you will be able to see the difference between them two (the kart look wider on the superview rather than on the linear mode). I hope I'm clear ;)

@@flavien_frc it was surprise more than anything at how wide the super view is without the classic fish eye distortion, I’d expect a lot more effect at that wide of angle

Hypersmooth also crops in a bit from the standard superview and esspecially if using boost

in terms of quality, what are the differences?
@flavien_frc3 жыл бұрын
Exactly the same mate ;)

@@flavien_frc sure? Wide is native lens but linear is digital lens option…
@flavien_frc3 жыл бұрын
@@kamileqone yep but I mean I can't really see a difference so it shouldnt be very important ;)

So the max lens isn’t required for horizon leveling?
@flavien_frc3 жыл бұрын
Nop! But better with it if you want to buy it because there's a wider angle ;)

This seems ridiculous, such ACTION cameras should be tested on 'shaky' activities (eg.trail-running), such sports like on here don't really give the camera a run for its money, don't put the camera through its paces. Peace✌️

Thanks for your comment, but I think you probably never did karting at all! Believe me, this activity brings a lot of vibrations and shaky movement on the camera, you can see it on the helmet, or you can have a look on the previous Gopro footage which were not stabilised few years ago, I think you will be able to watch it for 30sec maximum, and you'll realize how much the stabilisation is so powerful ;)
