I love both, I use both all the times... The bobber is great when you always go on the water, but you can use the Grenade Grip with the floaty backdoor for water...

Also you can use the platform from the box it came with as something it could sit on, I find it very useful plus you don't have to buy anything but the gopro! works very well Mitch and you get a greater range of view!!!!

I've kept the box it came in, the plastic tray on top is very handy, you could use that or like me (still attached to the box ) you can keep your mounts inside the box or add stones to keep it weighed down, just like it came when it was new :)

I like grenade more... if I don't have bobber with me when I am on the water, I throw the floaty backdoor on it because grenade grip do not float, bobber does

if you have the floaty backdoor on gopro and set up like this under the water, you will need to hold it down or it will float up... it will float with the gorilla tripod

Great Videos! Best I've seen and I've been searching for how-tos for 2 years now. You always manage to get in the shot what you are intending. My first experience was last summer at my son's surf camp and it was a disaster! Couldn't tell what I was filming and even after I bought the LCD screen, I couldn't see it for anything out in the light. How do you know how to compose to get what you want in the frame?

Hi Mitch, great fan of your movies. As a beginner of using GoPro, have you got any tips on how to get distance and aiming right..? I have done some filming with my Hero 3 black and I find it very hard to get my head around where the edges of the frames are, I have managed to cut some people off by being too close but the other times being too far away to see what they are doing.
