Even tho Nicky Rod spent years on the mat with Gordon and learning under the same coach he still couldn’t stop the move everyone knew was coming. That’s true dominance. The only comparisons that come right to mind is Khabib or Mike Tyson. You knew exactly their game plan every single fight, it never changed. But couldn’t be stopped.

Not sure how old you are, if you saw Tysons career, while an absolute monster, he is not in the same level as GR or KN, except public reverence. Which is so kool to see BTw! That said, he was dominant coming up, but for the most part he beat decent fighters and got beat handily by every elite guy he fought! Love Mike Tyson, but he was NOT able to maintain the same mentality post success. KN n GR did/have so far!

Making hundreds of millions. While Gordon is a very small known name, mostly just within BJJ. Most MMA fans wouldn’t even know him. He doesn’t have the fame nor the distractions nor the money to go off like Tyson. Also Tyson came up in the ghetto and was a street criminal since age 11. Gordon is a white guy from the suburbs.

You get a negative if you pull guard during finals. Your opponent doesn't get points for takedown if it's before the points period. If you want to play bottom without getting a negative you bait the takedown.

Nicky Rod's fault for not initiating a pass immediately after the takedown. That's sort of the thing with takedowns in comparison to guard pulls is that you should be chaining passing with the takedown, but for whatever reason Nicky just watched him fall down
