I've been telling others about this video! Big Momotaro seems to be enjoying his spa time. He even got a little back rub/scratch. 😄 I believe he gets this this done daily. I often thought their hands and feet must get so dry & cracked with the walking. I never knew they applied Olive Oil to help with their dry skin. I love to learn about the things they do to make them happy and healthy. Momo seems to love this like he is having a Spa day and being pampered. He has so much trust and love for his beloved Keeper. This staff is so wonderful and their bonds with this Gorilla family shows how much they respect, love and trust they share. Thank you so much. Be safe! ;-) BTW, If they did this with Gentaro, I'm sure he would find a way to slide around inside on the floor, zooming by everyone and freak out family! ;-)

I must say this was a side of momot i could never imagine. Oh goodness! I really laughed when Momotaro put his feet up for olive oil treatment, then gave the zoo keeper his back! I never realized Momotaro enjoys being touched by humans (certain humans). That was sweet to watch. He is so big, brave and athoratative. I like knowing this about him.
