Gorilla Fight | Silverback Haoko attacks son and made mom and siblings angry 🦍💢

Silverback gorilla Haoko looked frustrated and was moving around. Maybe it was because he kept looking at females Momoko and Toto, but they didn't allow him to come closer. Suddenly Haoko got mad at his son Riki, chasing and attacked him. Soon Riki's mother Momoko and siblings Komomo and Momoka screamed and got angry at Haoko and chased him. Gorillas usually take the side of the weaker one and get angry at the stronger one when a fight breaks out. Haoko has looked so frustrated there has been a rising tension between him and his troop gorillas these days. シルバーバックのハオコが最近イライラしているように見えます。 メスのモモコやトトにアピールするも、スルーされたり避けられていたのが原因の一つかもしれません。 突然ハオコが息子リキに怒り、追いかけまわして攻撃していました。 するとリキの母モモコと姉のコモモ＆モモカがすぐに駆けつけて、ハオコに怒っていました。 ゴリラの喧嘩の際は、他のゴリラたちはたいてい弱い方の味方をして強い方に怒って追いかけることがよくあります。 その後、ハオコがまた群れの誰かを攻撃し、他のゴリラたちに怒りの抗議をされていました。 この日はゴリラたちの間に緊張感があるように感じました。

I noticed Haoko's brother Shabani loves to have his family chase him and it can be hilarious. His Nene is one hell of a firecracker when she's angry at him. She goes for the jugular with her screams and how she goes after him.

I'm always amused by gorilla behavior. I've seen so many scenes just like this where the silverback disciplines a member but then the entire family retaliates against the silverback and they chase after him like the angry villagers in some old Frankenstein movie. I guess that's how gorilla social structure must have evolved over the millenia to keep silverbacks from becoming too tyrannical. .

Just cos he's strong he's not unstable like some men are around d women. He understands his roll and that is not to be a bully and eventually he's left alone abandoned by his own patheticness of using his strength all the time. Harmony and love among all takes understanding of others needs not just your own like some of these poor women in these oppressive countries where all the men practically are raised to put their own needs first. Animals can be better living beings than humans sometimes. We can learn from them to be better for each other and the planet and all in it.

She will never be a mother while in Japan. All the young females in the zoos in Japan are too closely related to the makes to bred for them. Aniee from Shabani's troop is the only one who can mate and breed, Gentaro is who she can mate with.

​​@@kimhaveman3628 Until Japanese zoos upgrade and modernize their enclosures and habitats for the animal residents, it's unlikely zoos from other countries will include them in the Species Survival Program. The Haoko troop does have a nice enclosure.

Shortcut, Haoko has been mating with Momoka, kiyomasa is rooting anytime that moves, he is mating with his mother, It seams like anyone is fair game with Momo, it's so f# up. It's way too sad for me that thing's I rarely watch them anymore. No Toto doesn't have any offspring. When she was at Hamamatsu City Zoo with Shou they were seen mating several times but no offspring 😌. I know both Toto and Shou are very friendly towards other gorillas and humans.

Seems he’s wanting attention from his two Mates and their not responding so he’s acting out to get their attention. Poor Riki. His mom and sisters setting Daddy straight .. Haoko didn’t hurt his son he’s just rolling him around. But Momma and Sisters not having it. 😂😂 Haoko just trying to get his wife’s attention. He wants to cuddle with them and they not in the mood. He’s still a Gentle Giant . And he’s a loving Silverback. ❤🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍🦍. Amazing he’s Daddy of 3 girls and 1 son all from one momma . Baby Sumomo is so precious and adorable. Just proves he’s a highly want to cuddle with his wife Man Gorilla 🦍.

He does not want to cuddle, he wants to mate, neither females are receptive. As Riki grows, if something is not done Haiko might injure him badly, because in the wild young adult Silverback go off on their own to form their own troops.

5:54 Haoko is one of those males that will attack his troop if he's not been mated in a while. Normally they attack over food or to discipline so it's a bit more shocking to see Haoko start this up again. I really hope they move his adult daughters out before they start to mate him again just to calm him down. Toto and Momoko need to help out with this.

Is it possible to bring in a younger UNRELATED female for Haoko? Momoko has done her share. She has had too many babies and the last pregnancy, she became very ill. she andToto are seniors and want to be left alone. I’m concerned that Haoko will start mating with his daughters again 🥺🙁🦍♥️💕

@@KathyJo.If they bring in unrelated females for this Silverback, I would imagine the Troop females would not readily accept them or treat them well and that could be very stressful for any new female. Didn’t Genki (from Momotaro’s Troop in Japan) bite off big portions of a couple of her own fingers in order to deal with the stress that she underwent due to not being liked by the other Troop’s lead females? The least stressful avenue would be to let these females consent to mating if they want, but use long acting birth control on them. That way the family can stay together with very little stress. Gorillas don’t have the same psychological and social ramifications that humans have regarding incest, so we need to remember not to anthropomorphize Zoo Gorillas.

Gorillas are not lively primates as such. In the wild, their favourite pastimes are eating and sleeping, and they are more than happy with that. So I wouldn't say it's boredom.

Haoko has a strong mating drive an insists on mating when for the females they don’t go into estrus for a while after baby an definitely not while nursing. Both females are in their 40s an maybe slowing down. Haoko has always gotten quite aggressive when he’s in heat an is a biter an relentless. He attacked Momoka an now poor Riki but love this family the dynamics an bonds unique

Lady I know I've seen like 4 others already explain to you that male gorillas do NOT have heats. As others have told you before, if a male animal has a heat, it would be called a 'rut' and primates do not have those. He's not a freaking deer!
