The warranty is worth it. I wore out my GR1 after 6 years of hard use. It was only a small tear on the main zipper, but Goruck replaced it with a brand new GR1 with all of the updates at no charge to me.

I love the GR2 26L Ultra as an EDC that fits my lunch cooler and for weekend travel. I like the ULA Dragonfly 30 L Ultra for one bag travel for the large stretch side pockets.

Was able to snag a GR2 in 500D. Awesome balance of easy to break in, lighter weight, but still tough. Just wish it had a quick access pocket.
