God loves everyone. But the bible clearly says that we are all born into sin which is why we have to born again. Sin comes naturally but Jesus died to gives us power over it. While I understand (but in some ways disagree) with the "it's natural" piece, the true red flag here is "I don't condemn homosexuality". While we are in no position to condemn the homosexual (person), the Word of God explicitly condemns the homosexuality (behavior/lifetime). How can people of God condone what God condemns? I love Tye, but his statement is questionable at best. He sounds lukewarm on the matter. God is hot on His stance. He didn't just say it's "not His best", He called it an outright abomination. Again, I don't promote condemning any sinner (who are we to condemn...even Jesus doesn't condemn...we condemn ourselves), but the sin itself is contemptible. Even if we argue that our sins are natural inclinations, flesh (the carnal/nature) is enmity (enemy) against God.

Tye has a point. Sin is part of our fallen nature. Some people have natural tendencies for gambling, drinking, and hoarding. However, does that mean we should encourage such behavior? Of course not. Those activities may might bring pleasure for a while, but in the end, how is it affecting them and their lives? How is it affecting their relationship with other people? Most of all, how is it affecting their relationship with God? What we need is a new nature, not validation of the old one. We must not let feelings and desires control our lives, but we must give them to Christ.

I was prophesied over at 6 mos of age that I had "the demon of homosexuality" over my life. In front of family and friends; my parents were humiliated that Sunday in March 1959. There are other concerns in his statement as well. He said that he is not condemning it. God condemns it in Leviticus 18:22 "You shall not lie down with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination." Whether it is natural or not is just simply a debate. We must deal with what God says about it. After all we serve God. Yes, The Word deals with all our sins. God condemns gossip and lying. That's just as wrong. Our Christian faith says that we were ALL born in sin and shaped in iniquity. So we believe (or should believe) that MOST of our natural desires are against God's will. And the whole point of our faith is to move beyond our earthly, carnal desires and "put our treasures in heaven" where they are not corruptible. Most religions have something like that in their doctrine. So I don't understand why people (Christians and otherwise) don't understand that about our faith. So for me, because I understand that, the argument that homosexuals are born that why is absolutely irrelevant to me. Because I understand that MOST of our natural desires are against God's Will for our lives. And I also believe in the transformative power of Jesus Christ. The type of transformational power that can make us into totally new creations. So us, your homosexuality come naturally, just like people's lying, stealing, cheating, fornication, adultery might come naturally because humanity is currently in a fallen state. But by grace through faith in Jesus Christ we can be transformed from these natural desires. And live a life that is pleasing to God.

I understand Tye 100% Before God even made us, he knew that some of us would be homosexuals but he still made us, did he? So I think that's why he said it's natural. And I personally would not condemn homosexuals because it's not my thing to do. At the end of the day, all of us will have to give account for our lives, so I am not going to judge anyone for something that I DO NOT SUPPORT, but I am not going to see a gay person and tell them that they are going to burn in the pit of hell, because Judgement belongs to God and not man.

He's not saying it's not a sin. He's saying it is a natural thing. Many don't choose to be attracted, but they choose to act and entertain that attraction. This can be said for many sins my people. You also may know that Jesus also walked with the sinners, so they may seek his salvation. People let's get it together. Stop trying to please man, in your justifications, but only Jesus Christ you should please. He is the only one that is going to save your soul, not man. So they run away from the word of god, to seek their sinful nature. It is really up for us to make a decision, you must put god first. You can not and I repeat you can not serve two masters. You can not serve god and mammon. It just won't work. No man, no king, or no idol god should not come before the Lord Jesus Christ; but you should only worship him as your lord and saver. This is getting annoying, hearing all the back and forth on this particular topic... There is nothing wrong with what Tye said he's actually reiterating the word in a gentle way instead of ripping into this type of sin as if its the worst thing ever.. Sin is sin, it doesn't matter what type it is.. Not one person is without sin, which is why we are all in need of a Savior.. Not to say one type is better than the next, but just because one is homosexual, it doesn't mean we should focus on them and rip them to pieces for it.. We are not to judge or condemn anyone, that is up to God.. Instead of looking outwardly and pointing fingers on those who are not like us or living according to our standards of God's will, take a closer look at your own heart and trust me, you'll find so much more to be concerned about than the lives of other people.. God uses all that is meant for evil for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.. No matter what a person's past was like or what present struggles they face, don't ever look down on them because God can rise anyone up and use their lives as a positive testimony for His kingdom... First and foremost, God is Love.. We are all in some form of bondage, pray for those who have fallen or remain in bondage and don't cast stones when you don't know the whole story..

To me most is not going to be truthful about the situation. I see what he saying everyone so calls hate homosexual people but don't know sin is sin. everybody was born in sin and also there are generational curses that are also passed down. If you are so called straight you probably wouldn't know whether or not the were liking the same sex from the beginning so I think for some it is a natural thing but that's why it is so important to teach and pray for your children while they are young and let them know what's right. people have so much hate for gay people they don't try to look at the view of it

What he was trying to say and perhaps could have said it stronger is we all have natural inclinations toward things. For example, someone may feel a relationship with another's spouse 'feels' right BC of a connection. That may very well be, but is it right? No. It's not just wrong BC of the hurt it causes, but BC God says it's wrong. Same with homosexuality. We all have a sin 'nature,' which will cause things to feel right that may not be right. All of us. That's why Gods word is the standard. So, what are they to do? The same thing any of have to do, ask the Lord to help us obey His word (if you choose to live by it). Amen.
