Got ADHD? Here's how to memorize lines.

I'm trying to remember the lines and frequently I'm accidentally putting in other words instead of what is actually on the script, it would be great if it didn't matter, but I'm sure when doing a self tape, getting it 100% it's important. I don't know if I have enough connection, who knows. Not sure what is happening

Drill down to more detail. Make sure every word makes sense in the sentence for you and that it's all connected to intention - what you want the other person to do or say.

@@IntentionalActing I mean all the words do make sense, it's just maybe I need to give more intention to them as I'm saying them to mean something to the other character

ive been working on memorizing 250 lines for a play im in and its been super difficult because of my adhd but this helped, thank you

I memorized upto 30 lines. I memorize sentences with each full stop and proceed further

I found a way to memorize my lines as an actor according to reading to the script, but some projects don't have script. I have to listen the prompted orally by the director and I'm not a good listener and they get mad when they i do retakes because I'm not a good listener, even though I'm listening my lines and sometimes my mind thinks that there are some grammatical mistakes
