Thanks for all the instructions. I got a pro to fix my wallpaper and they messed it up, so I searched on KZbin and found you, my own installation is better than that of the pro, all I had to do was follow your tips. Now I can correct the mistakes by the professional installer. God bless.

Thanks for the great tips! I'm glad I listened until the end when you talked about using a smaller needle depending on the type of paper and looking for a dark spot to insert the needle. I'm off to buy a syringe now.

Thanks Spencer, this is good advice. Can you do this with wallpaper that has been hung around 1-2 months prior. This is from another person's work who didn't come back to fix it. I am doing this for a client. Can this also be performed with wallpaper fitted to a cork wall?

Hey Spencer. Thanks for your videos. I installed wallpaper (black) on a white wall ( yes, I know) to my horror, when I went to admire my work some of the paper had shrunk in a few places and exposed these obnoxious and embarrassing white lines. When ever I look at it I feel sick. I need to fix or hide this issue. What do I do? Thanks.

As I read this, I was anticipating the results. This happened to me in the 1990s when I installed a hunter green wallpaper. Options: 1. Take a color crayon, water-soluble, that matches the color of black, that should be easy and simply fill-in in these ugly lines with your color pencil. 2. If the wallpaper is vinyl, you can take paint on a rag and rub it over the seam and then simply wipe off the excess with a dry rag leaving paint only in the seam. 3. Last option is to replace the wallpaper if it’s not a terribly big job

Hey Spencer. You have been nothing but a fantastic help for me, I am a self employed painter and wallpaper installer I am 27 years old and have been doing this for 7 years. I have learned sooooo much over the past 7 years through my mistakes ( you know what I mean) so what is the best method of pricing? By the square foot? And also, do you charge the same for 54 inch vinyl? I respect your skill and experience! I live in Canada so not sure if it's the same in Florida, but I need to fake it until I make it !!! People like you are so important to me.

I'm the engineer at my hotel. The building is 3 years old and was built by the lowest bid. That being said there is a lot of settling and as a result. In some places the wallpaper has come loose. In one of the worst cases, a corner in the public restroom there is such a shift in the drywall that not only has it come away from the wall, there is a bubble. The area is about 5 foot long and 2 to 3 inches in width. The wallpaper is patterned to make the repair more difficult to hide. Any suggestions on how I can tackle this?

Depends on your wallcovering. It might be too thick of an orifice on your injector… If it’s wide and your wallcovering is thick vinyl, then it would work but if you’re dealing with some paper products, your injector may be too wide
