Im 19 barely getting into nice handmade shoes and boats. A couple of shorts have already made me understand much more. Thank you sir.

Crease protectors are a good alternative to a shoe tree just. I take the crease protectors out when I wear my shoes and my big toe is better off. The crease protectors can be easily trimmed to fit a lot of different shoes.

Yeah, we know. But what to do about it? 😢
@shanesshoerepairs Жыл бұрын
Hi Salin, you'll see the shoe labelled "Shoe Tree" has one of these shoe trees in it. shanes.co.nz/products/wooden-shoe-tree-spring-42-43?_pos=3&_psq=tree&_ss=e&_v=1.0 Helps prevent creases from forming and will reverse some.

By storing them with the shoe trees inside, the wood absorbs moisture, and also maintains the shape of the shoe as if your foot was still in them. Also helps to stretch and flatten the leather to make polishing that much easier, so you don't have creases which either don't pick up the polish well, or capture too much polish and end up looking darker.

Pause video at the start and you’ll see the left shoe … which is on the right of the screen has “Shoe Trees” written under it. You’ll notice how smooth the shoe looks. 0:04

To prevent creases from being so visible, i prefer shoes with toe caps.

... and what to do about it. How about telling that, for a bit.

I would say stuff the shoes with socks etc and get a damp rag and iron cover the rag on the shoes and move the iron around on it 3 mins or more to achieve it original shape

Hey Sune, you'll see the one with "Shoe tree" label at the start they look like this shanes.co.nz/products/shoe-trees-club-standard?_pos=4&_sid=3bc48d4b2&_ss=r Leave them in your shoes when not wearing.

Best thing is to bend by hand the brand new shoe, making one crease. Then when you have them on, they bend on the crease you made. Instead of your foot creating a bunch of lumps, sausage lumps lol😊

Nice tip. Thanks.🇨🇦 I agree about the cap. The Iron Ranger break is pretty consistent.
