In February, Southern Ukulele Store put up a video with a green Super Baritone and I so fell in love with it. Still in love with those! The bluesy sound grabs hold and won't let go. It's number one on my wish list!

Steve makes really superb instruments. I was lucky enough to have him make me have a tenor sized uke with a short scale Baritone neck. Opted for a traditional shaped body in tobaco burst with a slotted neck. I love it. It's a thing of great beauty as well as a fantastic instrument. :)

Phwoar. That is a beast! I really crave a resonator for old-fashioned blues music. It sounds like the cheaper ones aren’t worth it though, and there’s not much that’s mid range, so something high end is an aspiration (a Beltona would be beautiful). That said, have you ever looked at the Wailing brand of resonators? I haven’t seen any reliable reviews.
@GotAUkulele2 жыл бұрын
I've reached out to Wailing to try to get one for review, but he's never responded - sometimes they do if potential buyers say they want to see me review one (hint hint!)

It's quite a lot smaller than a guitar - far closer in scale to a baritone uke than a guitar - plus four strings, not six

Yeah, what an instrument! Stretches the definition of "ukulele," especially with the metal strings . . . more like a tenor guitar with a wider nut. Yet, so what. Lots of music to be made on this bojammer.
