Great video on cleaning drive shafts, could you do one on changing out universals on drive shafts? I would also like to know if it is to replace the universals on the drive shaft on the X700 series, Deere only sells the whole shaft at about $350.00. I have a John Deere X758 with 1400 hrs.

I have changed universal bearings and it is not that difficult. I will make a video next time I change one.

Used CLP gun cleaners on the coupler to help break it free from the tractor. Spray it on with the small tube and it work it. If you pull back on mine and turn the ring about three times, it will stay locked back in place.

I have some CLP on my shelf. Never thoght to try it on a coupler.

Do you know the napa # to use for the am131981 ujoint ?. X758 - 60" High Capacity Mower Deck.  3-7

The Napa number is P861. That part is used on MANY JD models.
