I think Levy knows he’s at a disadvantage in classical against Pia so he’s going to do whatever he can to draw in the classical games, then hope to beat her in rapid/blitz.

@@SantiagoGonzalez-sl5lj So, is what you're saying that KZbin has descended the English language so far down to the point that "somewhere between 'mildly' to 'somewhat' unexpected is more or less equal to insane"? I mean, you're not wrong, but there'll still understandably be those of us who are disappointed at that being where things are. Edit/addendum: The most truthful title of the sort would be "Quick Anticlimatic to game 2". But that would have been HIGHLY self-defeating. You can still be honest and bait people in a positive way with... well, with what the thumbnail had; "Round 2 surprisingly ends after just 14 moves!". It's good. It's engaging. It's honest.

Serious Qn: after ...Nh5, could White get counter attack with Ne5? If ...Nxe5, then Bxe5; or after after Ne5, if ...Nxg3, then Nxf7. Black will have to expose his K with ...Kxf7 because ...Nxh1 loses the Q for the rook. Qn is whether or not there is sufficient compensation for losing this exchange??? I don't see how White isn't better positionally...
@TJConcept1995Ай бұрын
I think you may be onto something here. After your Ne5 Nxg3 Nxf7 Kxf7, Qc2 threatening Bg6+ looks pretty dangerous to me. It would mean allowing ..Nxh1, but it'll be a line I'd be exploring.
@MusiCatsKingАй бұрын
@TJConcept1995 Thanks for your interest. No my idea after Kxg7 was to save the rook with fxg3 followed by 0-0+! Next, i was thinking Qh5. Then, potentially e4 trying to bring other knight to Ne4 or Nd5 to help cover the dark squares around Black's K. Again, thanks for the reply.
