Actually the S.K animal shelter according to the in-game lore is a shelter opened in the 80s that Bruce, Dick, and Alfred got Ace from that Bruce regularly donates to and there's a reference to Selina as there's a "young lady" that stops by to see the cats and always donates money and food every week. I agree in this version of Batman though and even as Bruce Wayne he was the billionaire, playboy, and more specifically the philanthropist that Bruce Wayne should be. The in-game lore for the landmarks even shows this and dialog says he was involved with many charities. Though I wish he wasn't so suicidal. He had many opportunities to survive but doesn't really take them even in the end where he could've lived and saved the family. And Bruce and Jason's relationship is honestly the way it should be in the comics now. Jason here has matured and moved on with his life instead of instigating fights with the family and Bruce and his arc in the game he's grown to accept that everyone similar to Bruce isn't going to treat him like he was going to snap

I say it like thrice a day but I loved this game and am its staunchest defender, which is why I’m so happy someone finally made a lore video for Gotham Knights - the characterization, backstories and lore about Gotham in general are amazing and I’ve been looking to talk about it for ages lmao This game’s Batman is great, but I love this game’s Bruce even more. Like you said, recently all we’ve seen is brooding Batman that is more Bat than he is Bruce. Nothing wrong with that per se, but I love versions where he tries to be a good father and has a good relationship with his kids. That final cutscene had me ugly crying when I first played the game. It just summed up Bruce’s character and the family’s relationships with each other perfectly.

I honestly enjoyed Gotham Knights. I know I’m in the minority there. As said in the video, the characterizations were great (loved how they twisted Clayface’s search for identity). The graphics are not the best, but there something with the environmental designs like Star Labs, the court’s layout or the Penguin’s club that stuck with me. The gameplay is nothing special. It’s not good, it’s not bad. Sometimes you’ll have fun, sometimes it can bother you, really depends. Overall, it wasn’t the best game, but I had some enjoyment to be honest.

Call me crazy but when I saw GK and how they handled Bruce I thought Rocksteady was gonna do something similar in SS when we learned after Kevin's passing that he was in the game, with how that went I would've rather had GK be an Arkham game. Game is a 7/10 and there is nothing wrong with that but characters are 8.5-9/10 I really enjoyed them WBM once again nailing Batman characters

I will say that one thing I like with the lore of Gotham Knights over the Arkham games is that Batman has been around for 15 years. It is to me, a lot more realistic than Batman being around for 10 years at that point in Arkham Knight. With the whole Arkham series taking place over 10 years, it feels like so much essential lore was crammed in 10 years like all the Robins, Batgirl, etc. Also, without the audio tapes establishing more depth for the characters, it would have made the members of the Batfamily seem like stand ins for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles basically

As far as catwoman is concerned, Jason says when examining the diamonds that the the gcpd managed to cut her claws. So there's hinting at a chance she's somewhere in the gcpd cells or blackgate prison and possibly broke out. Or maybe is serving her time like Cobblepot did.

Highly unlikely that Catwoman and Batman were in a relationship at the time the game took place. If that had been the case then she would have been too important to not have been brought up in conversation. That hasn't even been the case in the comics for years. It's a little too much of wish fulfilment to say they were in a real in the game.

Amazing video and About the villains: Two face,Anarky,Riddler,Mad Hatter,Black Mask and Killer Croc they exist in this universe and can appear as dlcs villains in this game and I left the Scarecrow,Catwoman,Scarface/Ventriloquist,Deathstroke,Deathshot,Victor Zas,Ivy Poison and the Joker for the second game as the Mains and Secondary villains of the game not counting Talia herself as the secret villain or she for a third game 🤔😌👍like and Bye!

It’s still so crazy a game that could easily follow up on the ending to Arkham knight wasn’t part of the Arkhamverse, but the game where you play as the suicide squad, fighting against THE JUSTICE LEAGUE, is part of the arkhamverse Even IF the game was good, written incredibly well, followed up perfectly in terms of gameplay, etc, I still would ask why they chose to have it be a new entry to the Arkham universe

Honestly definitely enjoy the BatFamily and lore references that Gotham Knights dishes out. Especially different dialogue for each character in different parts of the game. Personally, I thought Gotham Knights had a solid game that could've been expanded on by DLC or something to that nature. Really a shame both this game and SSKTJL turned/are turning out pretty meh. I still like both games tho.

I just cant get over the fact that Batman in Gotham Knights literilly kills the Court of Owls not even just the Talons but the corrupt rich members as well after Robin even brings up he dosent kill people. Plus the side mission villians wernt the best Mr freeze frezing the emtire world after being dumped by nora, clayface just trying to be whole again, harley quinn i dont understand her plan, and turns out the main villian is just talia al ghul who in the end just escapes plus the whole being penguin errend boy.

Just got repetitive for me really quick and I remember being upset that you couldn’t atleast glide in the beginning of the game with batgirl because I hadn’t unlocked the ability 😂 but I just realized how was she able to walk in this game if she was oracle before? Although I think this game is miles behind Arkham previous editions it’s funny how new games change how people see the predecessor. Origins was looked down upon till knight them praised…knight was looked down upon till knights and after squad everything before is seen as fresh air. It’s like the prequels after the sequels came out…except the sequels I doubt will ever be looked at foundly.
