I love both Young Guns and Young Guns 2 and have seen both many times. Part 2 always leaves me feeling a little sad after watching it though for some reason. Especially after Doc and Chavez die. Maybe it's the music that adds to it too. It just has this feeling of loss. Like the vibe of being the last ride of Billy the Kid and his crew in the later days of the old Wild West. Billy being the last of the regulators, and Brushy Bill at the end who may or may not be Billy saying "you ask me if I've got any scars, I've got my scars" always hits me hard. Referring to his real scars being emotional scars from the memory of all of his pals that he lost in gun battles when they were very young.

I laughed my ass off this scene, I saw this when I was a kid and remember the scene when Emilio Estevez jumps up out of the trunk and starts shooting, that was fucking EPIC, a few weeks later we go on a family vacation to Friar Tuck Inn, which no longer exists, and there was these counsoulers that took kids places while the adults relaxed and did bingo, boce ball, whatever, and we went to a place called Carson City a Wild West themed place and they did shootout reenactments, wouldn't you know it they had Billy the Kid there and he shoots his gun and runs off and the sheriff asks the kids to come with him, I instantly had flashback of that trunk scene and said "NO WAY"!! 😆 but the kids brought him back and they dunked him in the water 3 times, that was his punishment, I forget what they did with him after that, then we went on a train ride where bandits rob it, Kids freaked out, but I knew it was part of the game so I just sat quietly, after the ride the actors gave all they took back to the people, one little girl was upset and one actor came over and said "I'm sorry, I'm a good guy". I loved that trip. I never really got into the whole wild west thing, but the Young Guns movies are a rare exception.

Though John tunstill played a older gentleman in the movies, he actually came as we know from a wealthy British family and was I believe only 21 or 22 years of age at the time of his murder. He was more of a big brother than he was a father figure. A big brother wanting to educate and teach what he learned during his few short years of his adult life. If not mistaken, he came from London England and I know in the 19th. century, London had the strongest economy in the Country. I learned this growing up myself in England but I hold duel Citizenship British American since birth.

Tunstill was 25 years old, His murder did not happen as in the movie, they came to his ranch , a large group, tunstill was shot in the chest and then back of the head, they shot his horse, they placed him as if he was having s*x with his horse. The Ranch hands including Billy were out on round up. Other people at the ranch ran and hid, but knew the murderers. Also Billy was Right handed, In his best known photo, his gun looks to be on his left side, but that was a problem with the old cameras, photos came out like mirror images. I researched him a lot, he is from same county as me in Ireland, 😊 ps Hollywood ruins films. I enjoy real history,
