Agree. Both anal and oral sex are mentioned in the Bible but is hardly ever talked about. Those acts falls under sodomy. Webster's dictionary defines sodomy as both anal and oral sex but it could also include all other non procreative methods of having sex which would include toys, hand sex, using the pull out method ect. The Bible says no sodomite will enter the kingdom of heaven "Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? 'Do not be deceived. Oral and anal sex are fruitless to God's kingdom and it directly goes against His command to "be fruitful and multiply"- Genesis 1:28. Anal and oral sex are unclean. The Bible talks about uncleanliness multiple times in both the old and new testament (2 Corinthians 6:17& 7:1 being only a few examples) Cleanliness is next to nothing to godliness! It's not godly to go drink from a toilet seat so why would Christians put their mouths where urine, blood and waste come from? The eating of waste and drinking of blood and urine is something Satanists do. How can you praise a holy God, kiss your child or take holy communion with the same mouth you used to suck on someone's genitals? That should not be-James 3:10. I think anal sex is a sin because it goes against the natural use of the anus. It is an exit not an entry. Secondly I think everyone knows that it isn't normal so the sinful passions of their flesh entice them to want to take pleasure in it. I do not believe Paul is saying anal sex is ok between married couples, however foreplay and even oral sex is allowed between married couples. Also if you are convicted about anal sex being wrong then you shouldn't do it since that would be sinning against your conscience. I for one feel that it is wrong and invokes a sense of lust within me when I think to engage in the act of anal sex therefore it tells me it is not right and should be avoided.

I would argue Romans 1:26 is actually a reference to anal sex. I know the common view in our day is that it refers to female homosexuality, but this is only assumed because the next verse talks about male homosexuality. What verse 26 says is that the women exchanged natural chrēsin (which means penetration) for that (i.e. another type of penetration) which is contrary to nature. Interestingly, the word that is translated as contrary/against actually is the word para, which is where we get the word "parallel" from; it means closely beside (yet still contrary to). This sounds a lot like anal sex to me, especially considering that the next verse says the men did the same thing with each other (the word that is often translated "likewise" at the beginning of verse 27 is actually always a reference to a similar action taken every other time it is used in the scriptures, not just a similar concept). 2 women cannot engage in unnatural chrēsis because they don't have the anatomy to do it (at least not with their own bodies alone!). Two men or a man and a woman on the other hand, absolutely can. Some have thought this also applies to oral sex, but I disagree for two reasons; first one being the word para could well imply that it is close beside what is natural physically speaking (and of course the mouth is not particularly close to the vaginal opening whereas the anus is) but more definitively, oral sex is spoken of in a positive way in Song of Solomon. While some have tried to say that Song of Solomon is actually referring to something else, to me none of their arguments have been convincing as it seems so clear in chapters 2 and 4. Therefore, I conclude that oral sex is acceptable between a married couple whereas anal sex is a sinful act for its own sake.

I actually do believe anal sex is mentioned in the Bible and it is a sin. Romans 1:26 is often thought to be talking about lesbianism, but I personally believe it is talking about heterosexual anal sex (whereas 1:27 is about male homosexuality). I think the language and structure make it very difficult to have it be a reference to female homosexuality as is often assumed.

Many people use the argument that "it's not its purpose" when the Bible didn't define that. who are you to say the anus (or other parts of the body) cannot have multiple uses? we can praise god from our mouths and drink wine with it too, as long as we aren't dishonoring god in doing so there is no sin. The bible says the marriage bed is undefiled, plain and simple. We can't add to scripture what God didn't write in it. Obviously if someone has personal convictions against something they should avoid that, but we can't call things universally sinful when the Bible doesn't support that claim.

True, that was a point that he didn’t respond towards. It is, however, a slippery slope though. Because once you use the “God didn’t design that body part for that reason” it also removes oral sex and even using hands on a spouse. In fact, it could even go so far as to say that French kissing and even regular kissing are also off limits. (That’s not the primary design and usage for the mouth or tongue.) Nor is hand-holding. That’s not what they’re for primarily either. Yet Song of Solomon speaks towards several of these things so there is biblical precedent that they could be ok. At the end of the day it is the 6 points he mentioned and this one that should all be weighed, prayed about, and discussed between both the husband and wife to decide what they believe glorifies God and is acceptable to them.

Webster's dictionary defines sodomy as both anal and oral sex but it could also include all other non procreative methods of having sex which would include toys, hand sex, using the pull out method ect. God gave us the gift of sexuality, but because we live in a sinful world we are often tempted to pervery it into something unholy. the idea of lust is complicated, because of language differences. i think the true word-for-word translation of lust is desire, but the hebrew and greek languages require a lot more context to fully understand than english does. how I have come to understand it is "what is the purpose of your desire?". if you want a woman so you can love her, cherish her, and honor god with her in marriage, then that is not lustful sin. if you look at a woman and just want to fulfill your sexual desires with her, then that is lustful sin. obviously, marriage entails sexuality so we have to be careful. but marital sex is holy, the bible says the marriage bed is undefiled.

We do not have in our hands the ORIGINAL manuscripts (writings) of the Bible. The technology of those days simply couldn't prevent the original copies from decay with wear and tear of use. And unfortunately us humans are not perfect when hand duplicating and rewriting.... As a result, some manuscripts include the word "fasting" there yet some do not. It''s perhaps an arbitrary choice as to which ancient manuscript a person translates from. Some are older but found in smaller quantities and questionable locations, and in broken fragments. Some are slightly less old, but found in larger quantities and in less controversial locations. But the differences are relatively small. The "ancient copies" (manuscripts) they chose to translate from when the write the ESV vs the NKJV (for example) will result in some subtle differences in the neighborhood of 1%. That's why you might see some DIFFERENT phrases or missing verses, sometimes. That all said, it's NOT fair to imply intentional deception, or imply certainty of what words were in the original bible. So I try to avoid harsh and absolute statements like "left out" or "removed". If they're ancient manuscript didn't have it, it didn't have it. Thankfully God promises to preserves His Word of Truth. I have not found ONE doctrine difference between any of these architecturally trusted sources of manuscripts. (Salvation through Christ, deity of Christ, moral laws, attributes of God, history, etc) So as Christians, we should avoid starting public arguments on minor details (Matthew 18:15). And we should not create controversy or stumbling blocks for those who are less spiritually mature. (Leviticus 19:14, Matthew 16:23) ....I've dug a decent amount into this recently, and have NOT YET decided on my "preferred" translation. But, I just finished the 4 gospels in NKJV last night, and love it, see slight differences vs NASB, ESV, etc. I do like the "punch" that it packs, so I am leaning that way. Thank God (literally) that I see NO difference in doctrine. So, there's no reason to let it divide us Christians. But, I do think as Christians mature, and as they start to deciple others, they should investigate this point and pray and fast on it, and see where God leads them. The bible says that the two become one flesh. they are tied together, but clearly there are still 2 minds and 2 souls. authority doesn't just mean that the one who is subject to it has to follow every whim. authority comes with responsibility and requires the one with authority to exercise it correctly.

The Canons of the Eastern Orthodox church insist that both oral and anal sex within marriage to be sinful. They are considered un-natural acts and expressions of passions only. The point about oral sex is that we are taking in our mouths the body and blood of Christ and as such, should not profane our mouths. it quite literally tells us. the bible can't possibly say "do it" to things that aren't bad, because there essentially infinite neutral or good actions. what it does is outline the bad. for the same reason, it can't explicitly say every bad action because there are so many. that's why we are given guidelines and we must use our god given abilities to discern right and wrong from them. therefore, we can implicitly see the bad and know where we must walk to stay close to the lord.

You take scripture out of context at the start. You say that sodomy is forced man on man sex. No. Sodomy is not forced anal sex of a man to a man. Is all man on man anal sex. Remember that Abraham was begging to God to spare them? ‘I spare all of them if there are 10 men found not guilty’ Its safe to say that not all (probably a 1000 men) of them where rapist.
