I love side on. sometimes it's better than others. I love it when it's really working and every tack is rapid fire wave riding.

HA880 foil
795 HM mast, 10 in track
60 fuse
140 dart stab (blue & red shim)

My wife watches your videos w me. I think it’s mostly to see what your hair looks like. Today she said she’d like a bobble head of you. She said it’d be so cheerful. I think it’s a great idea!

lol this is hilarious. I actually do have a bobble head of me but it precedes the Mohawk. Otherwise I’d give you one 😜 made me laugh, thanks Brad!

What a great local spot! The 880! I just had my first prone session on it, also first go with the 55L ML prone. First wave got my personal best time on foil! Then the sea breeze kicked up to 12-18mph so I grabbed my 5M and went right back out with the same rig. So good!

so good!! it can do so much, I love it. how's the 55L working out for you? I'm locking in on the 75L and hope to get it in the next two weeks or so.

@@OCEANBOUND1 so far I’m really content with my call on the 55L over the 45L. It’s a great one board quiver. New daily driver for wing and prone (unless duck diving is mandatory kinda waves). The 55L is 85% of my 65kgs and works winging into that 12mph threshold with a larger foil to compensate when needed. Looking forward to your thoughts when you get yours!!

Hi mate. Was out with the 580 30 knots winds medium bumps small waves. It was too small for me, very pitch unstable (maybe because of the 205 tail I put ??) and when it slows down after carving 2 or 3 times it drops off. I am 84Kg. So maybe it makes more sense to me to have the 680 and 780 and use the 680 in the heavier conditions and bigger waves. Do you thinks it’s too much of an overlap?? Can I handle bigger bumps and waves better with the 680 than the 780 or do they turn very similar?? Thx mate really appreciate your help.

what's up bud?! I keep seeing your other comments and I just haven't had a chance to respond, so sorry bout that. I can see how the 580 would feel a little small for your weight. I'm not far off, only about, 5-7 kg, but that can make a big difference. I do notice the 580 drops out quicker but I'd say I'd be riding that when I'm lit and the 680 whenever it's less. I think from another post you said your quiver would be 580/780/980/1180? if so, I would have said that's legit awesome. but if you want to be on the 680 then that can change things, but I did get rid of the 780 cause it was too close to the 880 and 680, both of which I wanted to keep. the 580 and 680 feel a little different, whereas the 780 felt in between the two next to it. that 780 should be fine for everything... and then you can ride the 580 when it's big. but if you feel like the 780 is lacking anything then def try the 680. maybe give the 580 another try when conditions get a little bigger? I wanna be on that as much as possible, it loves going rail to rail and turning so it's good in both the sloppy stuff and the clean stuff. I'm using the 180 and 140 most of the time with 1.5 degree shims. I also liked the 580 with the 205, made it a little easier and a smoother slightly more controllable. not sure if any of this helps. LMK if you have more questions!

New Cabrinha wing? You preferring the hard handles now? Or cant pass up on the deep discounts on these wings?

New Cab! not really that new... I demo'd this one a year ago and broke it on the demo, my wing dealer still had it so I bought it off him. I do love it. they drift great and have good power. I like it more than my 5.5m Strike but that wing is kinda blown out. I haven't felt like riding that one in months. Cabrinha just sent me a new 5m Mantis and a 5m Vision to demo for a few weeks, so I'm stoked to compare all of these. I really love these handles in particular. perfect amount of grip and a really thin profile. more soon, but I' def recommend them. thanks bud I wish you an awesome week!

Looks fun. Also it looked like someone was prone on the new Armstrong mid length? Do you have ambitions for midlength?

sup bud! it was an awesome sesh. my bud was on a small Armie foil board with his foil drive, not mid length. I'm getting a ML! going for the 75L. I want easy and I want it to be a no-struggle daily driver. I wish I was getting the foil drive but too much $$ still for me. I'll keep working on the paddling :P

I've been doing a handful of 3 hours sessions lately! I'm all about it, now that the gloves are off it's like I can hold on forever. just hydration that keeps me back, and I usually take electrolytes out with me so I can be out as long as possible. anything to prolong the magic! lol. thanks bud, I wish you an awesome week ahead!!
