GOTTA LOVE THOSE TURBO BUICK ALIEN NOISES 🛸 👽 - Another Satisfied Customer

When our customers reach out for a consultation, we deliver! We drove to Mississippi to check out our customer’s car. During our test drive we found that it was already equipped with an aftermarket FAST XFI computer, Boost Leash, alky system, larger than stock turbo, and front mount intercooler, but wasn’t making enough power to spin the tires🤨😳😟 This was baffling news because the engine was equipped with champion ported iron heads, roller cam and valve train, along with a new rotating assembly.
OUR UPGRADES:
We properly plumbed the boost leash system, upgraded the failing o2 sensor for the fast xfi, and also upgraded the fuel system to support future power. We removed the 255 pump and 60lb injectors and opted for a 525 hellcat fuel pump, 8an/6an fuel lines, and 80lb injectors.
From there we repaired all vacuum leaks, exhaust leaks, inspected the electrical system, and made all necessary solder repairs. We found that every single exhaust gasket was blown, which is why the car seemed under powered. We finalized by setting all the sensor parameters, and reached out to Mr. Cal Hartline for a start up tune.
The car now runs at its best, and we have ourselves another satisfied customer. He’s owned the car for several years, and he’s finally reaping the benefits of that turbo 6 power!
With a more efficient turbo and external wastegate, this one will be a 10 second monster for sure!

Do you guys do all the tuning yourself or do you use the turbo tweak chips and then fine tune it

In this particular case, we were using an aftermarket ECU (FAST XFI). Base tune was provided from Professional Tuner Cal Hartline and we made adjustments from there. If the customer is still using a stock ecu then we’ll fine tune the chip settings.
