oh heck yes~! 'easy' by the commodores, unforgettable! i can still hear it in my head, now that you mention it- thanks to the frequent airplay it got , it definitely is memorable!

joe jackson's drummer, dave houghton, was always frickin' awesome- made a hell of an impression on me, in dozens of truly great songs and recordings

dickey fleetwood was always pretty solid! haha! i'm definitely from the ringo/nilsson/fleetwood 'school' of drummin'- and war--remember war? they were freakin' inspirational, for me, as a kid, in the early seventies

I'm totally with you on the Pete Thomas thang. He is not often mentioned and he was/is a big part of the Elvis Costello sound.

What you said near the end about young musicians, is unfortunately true for some of them . There’s a tendency to forget that , it’s thanks to bands you mentioned in the video ( and many others from that period ) , that there’s a wide diversity of styles today ....anyway, nice vid 😉
