yes good idea. imo, great wheel for trais (single track, gnarly trails). i believe the low hangar issue, fan placement, different bearings and maybe different fw to get rid of the high pitched sound from motor tuning.

Another thing i noticed is the ACTUAL frame(shell) of the wheel is bigger so it might hit when bonking(although if it is wider and can accept a fatter tire it may not be such a big problem) ....that and the pedal height is what scares me. Thx 4ur Nice riding and reviews!

i have had no problem with booking or jumping. pedal height, whilst not optimal for trail riding, i learnt to adjust my line till the new hangars arrive.

I'm glad that Gotway competes in the market but they appear to be consistently lackadaisical in their design planning. All too often there is some detail that is an obvious after thought.

@@rayrokni I know you're getting new hangers, but I absolutely would not want to fully tear apart my wheel to install new hangers. I think in my old age I've gotten tired of taking wheels apart. I'd rather be riding :-)

Would you recommend the HT or HS for a 160ib rider that mostly rides pavement (sometimes trails)

either for your weight. the hs would give you more speed but not the torque that the ht has. i’ve ridden both and i prefer the ht. if you want the extra speed, then consider the exn. 105kmh free spin test. more battery.

Was looking at the RS HT for a mixture of off roading and pavement riding at 200 pounds and 6'3" tall.. this would be my first EUC..(I've been riding OneWheels for almost two years and looking for more speed, range, torque and hill climbing ability).. if I were to order one now do you think your issues will be rectified or do you suggest I look at other models of EUCs? (The veteran Sherman is $1000 more and not sure it will be as great as the RS HT off road and is really heavy and 80 miles range seems excessive for me).. Are the pedals higher positioned compared to the HS version of the RS? thank you

@@justinspirational whoever you order from, make sure they understand you don’t want the lower pedals. i cancelled all my rs orders with gw till they fix couple of the issues. i informed all my clients and they have no problem waiting 😁. it shouldn’t be long

I'm about to place my order with ewheels.com but the known bearings issue is concerning.. wonder if they will fix the bearings and noisy fan issues in the next batch too as well as pedal hangar height..

i have not personally. but i know of three wheels that i got that have bearing issue out of the box. new bearings were sent by GW

i weigh 195. i always go for the torque version since i ride trails and top speed isn’t important to me. as a street wheel i would go with speed version.

the pedals are the monster pro pedals. the studded plates are made by murland fish. he is found on face book euc groups. if you can’t find him let me know and i’ll put you in touch. imo of you can only add one thing to your wheel it should be these plates made by murland fish. since the video, i have replaced the pedals with smaller msp pedals with murland plates. i like smaller pedals on trails
