Govee Outdoor Permanent Lights-Home and Back Patio Install

Welcome back to the channel. In this video, we are going over installation of Govee permanent lighting. It sure was a hot day but we didn’t give up. We stay hydrated. Most important thing was getting that layout early morning and execute it. We took a few breaks here and there which made it so much easier. DIY’s aren’t always easy but if you keep going, set your mind to it and they can be accomplished. Great video I am looking at getting these and trying to catch them on sell for at least the 150 ft version and I ain't trying to install them in the Texas heat either lol. Great job in not passing out, hope to see a follow up vid after summer time to see if they hold up to the heat.

Great job, man. All Govee needs to do is come up with a tray system that can hide the wires that's paintable.

Great video’s, glad I found you. We actually live close in Schertz. I am definitely going to get the Govee’s but have a few quick questions. First not light related. Why two brad nailers? Second it looks like you wrapped your entire house, based on the patio footage. Did the 100ft go the whole way or did you use another set for the back. Thanks again for the video’s.

Amazing install! I have a 375 linear foot roof, can i put all those together, with the 12 ft extension? I just have a single jump id haveto make.

Question for you, on the clips you are using, could you not just use the 1" staples on either side of the light to secure them instead of those clips?

Hi. Great videos. I’ve watched all the Govee light ones. I’m wondering how do you install them when the peak goes up but there’s also a horizontal eve under. How do you splice the wires to make that connection?

Great run down of things that you took to install! Question for you - what is your starting point? I assume that's the point where you have the controller? So is the controller inside your attic?

What size block do you recommend using from the light to the side of the house? Govee’s website says about 2-4” but that’s a serious gap different, looking for recommendation as I’m about to do these myself this weekend

How did you trasition from the pitch roof above the garage to the soffit section? Did you use 2 separate controlers

Does the brad nailer for the clips work with those that have aluminum vented soffits, or do they need to use screws?

Hi, Aren't the lights individually programmable? So, can't you just turn the lights off where you there is a gap required? Thanks so much!

If you have full aluminum perforated soffits (like me), do you secure the clips with metal screws instead of Brad nails?

I enjoyed your video, question though-how did you connect the lights on the peak of the front roof line to the rest below? (looks like it’s separate from the rest, which is a nice touch)
