Reality as my father works in govt office: holiday on Sunday, still phone will come for work from people of India! There is a workload also, my father suggested me to go in private, as you can earn good if you are skilled at less stress

sir government job mtln IAS, IPS hi nhi hota. Graduation ke baad SSC Cgl, CDS, AFCAT, etc. kaafi acche exams hote hai with with honourable and high paying jobs aur inki preparation college mei rehte hue araam se ho skti hai.

My opinion is that if you have technical qualifications like Btech. MBBS etc private sector is the best. Here the income is very very high if you have good skills. If you are a non tech government job is better for you since the salaries of non tech people are low in private sector except a few cases. If you are interested in politics, then UPSC civil services is also good.
