Last year I had fun with the Sprint car game at the beginning of the curfew. I haven't bought the next one (American Racing) but I heard good things about it. I can't race for good in Assetto Corsa so I need simple games like this (or Wreckfest) if I want to fight for positions without stressing my old computer too much.

The SRX series is also coming near me, to Slinger Speedway, which is such a weird place IMO. It's like 45 minutes NW of downtown Milwaukee and it's certainly not a large place.

I mean super trucks fits this seems like one of those I don't know side show halftime race series and that's how I see super trucks it's along the ride of imsa or whatever series they follow and in that you get points for passes so that's why the inverted grid makes sense with that and stadium super trucks is like angry drunken spec Miata racing with ramps it's glorious

Hey GP so as far as I understand all three races award points. So think sort of like NASCAR's stage system. Race 1 and 2 awards 12 points for first down to 1 point for last. Then for the final race it's basically double points with the small exception of first place so 25 for first, 22 for second, 20 for third, 18 for forth and so on.

Yours is the first video I've seen driven in cockpit view and with a wheel. Can you please do a video of a dirt track? I'd love to get a short track racing experience on my computer. With the new Nascar Heat being based the RF2 infrastructure I have hopes for it. So this is my only hope as after all the money I lost iracing, they would have to pay me to renew my membership.

It looks to me that they have added the base rFactor 2 physics/tyre model in here. Since Motorsport games bought out Studio 397. Looks very impressive. The screen size looks good also. Feels like your in the front seat, and not the back seat like some games. How adjustable is the screen/seat position? Maybe a sign for what's coming to Nascar series also.

I'm fine with the current iteration in the game because even though I've raced there I could complain about it being inaccurate but But with the events of the past year he can't complain too much Also the one thing that bugs me is I enjoy the trophy trucks but I wish there was some jumps to make that a little more fun and to bring maybe the slow the races down For the real life SRX series I believe and this may not be true but I believe the motivation will be to get as high as you can because them positions may put pay points

$40 usd does seem steep. I only recently grabbed Heat 5 for maybe $10, and having fun for the casual game it is (it's like Forza meets Daytona USA the way I try to rush my way thru the field). Did you try the dirt, can you compare it to Heat 5 or others from 704/Monster games? As the dirt in Heat 5 felt pretty bad to me.

Won't be seeing an IndyCar game from these guys. The new NASCAR game developers recently announced that they secured the license and will be releasing an IndyCar game in 2023. Hopefully NASCAR '21 ends up good later this year (Dumping the Monster Games codebase and Unity in favor of the rFactor 2 physics engine and the Unreal graphics engine), since I have my fingers crossed that their British Touring Car Championship game in 2022 and IndyCar in 2023 both end up great.

@@PrestonPlourdProjects I've not played it and understand it has had a bit of a rough start. But while a disappointing first entry, it does seem to hold promise for the future compared to the stagnant last several NASCAR Heat releases. Hopefully they actually work to improve this year's sequel to get it where it should've been last year and aren't just switching to annual roster update mode. If they didn't get this one correct out of the gate though, it does rather leave in doubt hopes for a worthwhile IndyCar and BTCC game from them I suppose. :(

I still think NASCAR console games needed a reboot and that going with the rFactor 2 physics engine and the Unreal graphics engine was a good idea in principle. But sadly they've failed to make it work. I will at least give them credit for having the sense to cancel 2022's game, do some further improvements to 2021's game, and give the 2023 sequel two years of development.

the "greenhouse" portion of the car is definitely based on a nissan s13, the other styling is pretty gimmicky, but i guess they didnt want or couldnt secure some manufactured spec cars. or the various existing driver contracts made that impossible

@@hi_c.v7289 challenger rear quarter window bottom edge goes upward as it goes rearward. also the challenger rear window is a flatter piece of glass than the srx. also the challenger roof is alot longer. its definitely based on an s13. would make producing molds and templates easy

Honestly its really a shame how bad the tracks are for the SRX races. Like I'm not expecting iRacing laser scan, but also I'd like for real life lines to at least be usable. Like for Nashville and Slinger they look realistic enough but then Stafford and IRP race nothing like reality!
