I believe Alan is one of the greatest underrated and appreciated humans on the Hollywood wheel. I just adore him immensely. He’s in so many of my favorite films and I wish him happiness and content with his life 🥰🥰🥰

Probably the most iconically eclectic filmography in film history, and such a lovely guy. I grew up with him as Floop, was surprised by him as Elton, and then absolutely fell in love with him as Eli.

Agreed. I saw him on during Caberet’s last run on Broadway and I have never seen anybody so perfect for a role. Maybe my favorite onstage performance I’ve ever seen.

People misunderstood the real message. They saw the first layer thinking it was a big commercial in movie form, but none of these companies actually sponsored the movie to be in that. The music is awesome, pop culture references and killer jokes and one liners, and all the actors are bomb. I'll always love this movie!

His character development in The Good Wife is great. I don't know how much it was because of the writing, and how much he contributed, but somehow I have a feeling his performance was the driving force of supporting character rising to par with leading characters.

he hides it well, Scottish is a thick harsh deep accent, and it can be hard to mask, yet he does it well.

He is probably sick to death of that role between the original production he was in and it’s revival. Although I could watch him in it or hear him talk about it all day long. It was a bold move for him to put such a drastic spin on such an iconic role. Joel Gray’s version is equally fantastic but is definitely his own. Vids I’ve seen of productions after Mr. Cummings have all seemed like copies of his take.

tbh i liked his role in that, the movie sucked but I liked his loki. Loki is my fav norse god, I enjoy the gods of micschief best cuz they have some cool/wacky stories that really play with the opulence of what gods are like.

I know he's a massive Hollywood star and he always deserved to be but please check out the short lived Scottish sitcom he wrote and starred in with Forbes Masson in the 90s. "The High Life" about 2 air stewards. Totally off the wall hilarious.

Yes !! That's also where I first saw AC. His character in that movie was such a creep !! So, I'm really glad I saw him in other projects and in interviews and such as he's so great. But I wish he spoke about Circle of Friends. It's always fun finding out movie tidbits.

I love Mr Alan Cummings movies. My favorite is "Sweet Land". I just finished reading his book, I couldn't put it down. I cried and cried at the cruelty of his father and at the death of his grandfather. Thank you for sharing your story.

I’ve always adored Alan, his films have always been a part of my life. I grew up with films like Black Beauty, Buddy and Spice World. And of course later on came Romy & Michele’s, Spy Kids and Josie and the pussycats. He’s absolute perfection!

They missed Plunkett and MacLean, Reefer Madness The Musical and the Anniversary Party (some of my faves). Alan is someone who I've grown up watching and just love through and through. This helped me connect the dots and remember why I love him so. He speaks about his human/artistic experience not the glitz and glam. Both Tommy's Tale and Not My Father's son are among my favorite novels too. And he's silver fox daddy hot now. I'll be back in 20 years darling. ❤✨

Yessss they covered Josie and the Pussycats!! 🥰🥰🥰 That and Floop are the characters I identify with him the most.. BUT the one character they didn't bring up that I wish they did was Billy Blaikie on The L Word. I always found that character to be interesting and memorable.
