It was a bold move for him to put such a drastic spin on such an iconic role. Joel Gray’s version is equally fantastic but is definitely his own. They missed Plunkett and MacLean, Reefer Madness The Musical and the Anniversary Party (some of my faves). Alan is someone who I've grown up watching and just love through and through. This helped me connect the dots and remember why I love him so. He speaks about his human/artistic experience not the glitz and glam. Both Tommy's Tale and Not My Father's son are among my favorite novels too. And he's silver fox daddy hot now. I'll be back in 20 years darling. ❤✨

Yessss they covered Josie and the Pussycats!! 🥰🥰🥰 That and Floop are the characters I identify with him the most.. BUT the one character they didn't bring up that I wish they did was Billy Blaikie on The L Word. I always found that character to be interesting and memorable.

Yeah when he brought it up I was surprised. I totally forgot the movie existed. I had it on VHS when I was a kid. I don't even really remember it that well. I just remember the alien part was weird. 😂
