This video is a demonstration of all the courage you're capable of. Being honest with yourself is a hard path, but doing it on a hike (and in front of millions of people) is really impressive! You're a tough dude Ted!! Be proud of who you are, no matter what!! Keep pushing, no matter what! Poops in the beginning of the trail? Probably from the last one who saw the ghost from the ghost house where you slept ahahah!

This is great man, you should make this video visible for everyone. It may be less beauty shots or "exciting stuff", but it's great to have a peek into what this kind of thing asks of a person mentaly. Being alone, having to rely on yourself is a pretty unique experience. It's wonderfull how you show that here.

funny thing is that it was actually a misstake so you got the see it before everyone else! :P

following you for many years, seeing your journeys, how you keep it real, how you evolve. How you manage what's coming your way and how you dive into the unknown. I first got to know you when I started buying Fjallraven and started understanding their ways and all but it evolved from there. It takes a lot of balls, and a lot of heart strength to put these out there. I humbly salute you brother. It comes a bit challenging for men to just heal, release all the shit you've been holding on to and all. Been doing it myself a lot lately. We have never met but I must say I am proud of you for taking the leap and just trusting the universe to take care of the rest. Hope to meet you some day in Sweden or anywhere for that matter, will be travelling a lot to Denmark, Sweden and Finland. A man is truly a man where he takes responsibility of his emotions and master his mind. Respect brother, respect. ( and glad to see you ditched the Panasonic hehe =) ). I am simply shocked that this channel is not having like a million subs right now. Take care man. The only was is through. ( and what ?!? how buff you are dude ?!? Come ooon )

Watching that last shot off the video just makes me think of that unique feeling, where after a too long tiring trek with a backpack that's too heavy to be comfortable you finaly get to put the pack down and unlace your boots. Feels like floating. And that also makes me think off the next day, with feet that are still tired and still hurt, lacing the boots back up and hoisting your pack onto your back... That second one is a signifficantly less nice feeling unfortunatly.

I get what you mean. This is where you divide it down to smaller goals, I wasn't up walking early the day after, as a matter of fact I couldn't sleep that night at all. don't know why, I was exhausted. this is also a time that I look back on with pride, happy that I continued, proud that I kept pushing forward! I really like that last scene too! :)

Thanks brother! I can really relate to what your'e saying. This might sound weird but I think the answer is that we don't need more, we need less. we feel good when we earn things. todays society has gotten it twisted. you will always need your family, I'm also very thankful for mine!

I once read that to feel fullfilled you have to stop achieving and start putting your life into service. For a good, for society, for people, whatever. That brings joy. And I think that is one good advice... Anyway I wish all of us that we find happiness, I'm on my was, too.

A absolutely perfect example of real life, real feelings and what can happen when you challenge yourself. You learn so much about what kind of person you are. You survive mother nature, you can never beat her. That shelter and the area you filmed was some horror movie, Blair Witch type shit.

Hi Ted, very refreshing video. Good to see you share your honest emotions in a world where we are told to suppress them and not show vulnerability. It shows your strength and energy to share this not only with the people close to you but even on a platform like KZbin, inspiring others. In my own experience, this is when you really grow as a person and create honest and real connections with people. Keep it up! All the best from Belgium Ps. Nature has this amazing effect on us all and it is right at our doorstep :)

Hopefully not because one resting day would not cure them 😢 The fact that you had the courage to show this video for people in the KZbin and all these comments tells that you are appreciated 👍 Bra jobbat!

it's OK to acknowledge what you feel and thinks about yourself instead of bearing them deep inside, yet you have to get a firm grasp on them instead of letting them go wild as you did, a dangerous place to be. So stay confident, remember the body is nothing without the mind. I would hate something bad to happen to you over personal insecurities.
