I think you could cut out a space in the polystyrene for the supports & move the goo etc. to the cavity around the battery

Yeah, I’m sure you could squeeze it in but cutting up OEM parts makes it non-reversible.

Shame they aren’t coming here… the Yaris is brilliant at everything it does. If the Corolla can be anywhere near as good AND pack some decent storage space, I imagine it would be a bloody good daily.

I thought Toyota had to remove the front chassis strut for EU pedestrian safety reasons and fitting it for road use isn't legal in most countries. It's certainly not allowed here in Switzerland. No issues in the UK?
