My biggest turn-offs regarding the Yaris were always that lack of sound and the horrible fake sound… You manage to actually make this sound pretty decent! Especially on the intake side of things

Thankfully - both sounds have very easy solutions - fake sound any dealer will turn off for you, or you can DIY with obd unit. And outside sound - theres plenty of solutions, you just choose the level you want to achieve - mine is resonated Milltek (the most quiet one). But you can go non-res, pretty loud, or even combined with opf delete (crazy loud - awesome for you and your neighbors too). Then you have opf off Xforce with valve - combining the quiet and the mad sound in one package. And if even this is not enough, you can always go fullretard with syvecs/motec unit, adding ALS for that nice WRC-like final touch 👌🏻

The "Fake"-Sound only kicks in when you hit the gas pedal harder and rev. goes up, but it is the real motor sound, which the system records, filters a little bit and plays it via speakers. I switched it off, the I realised, how much real sound the whole sound package is... and then decided to switch it on again. It was really missing. I do not think that it sounds artificial... I have to say that I like it more when it is activated (with stock exhaust) than without. But I deactivated the noise cancellation, now you can hear some decent sound from the rear, I think the torsen differntial or some sounds from the gearbox? It reminds me of some special cars in Assetto Corsa, a rough turbine sound, but in this case it is very unobtrusive. I like it, because so feel, that this is no normal comfortable car, but a performance car. And I also hated not to be able to hear the horn on higher speeds...

@@M4TR1X if you just search xforce gryaris here on youtube, you will find plenty of vids. This exhaust is great value, but downside is too much noise in the cabin.

My first car ever was a Seat Ibiza 1999 it was one heck of a small car but it gave me the most joy of all the cars that i drove till now... Small cars will give u a blast for sure :)

With some obd unit. Look for gr yaris fake sound disable on youtube, you’ll find several videos. Any dealer should remove the fake sound for you too.

I would say so. On snow they work great, without snow any winter tyre sucks.

anything is possible with enough money, but it'd probably be easier to use a FocusRS drivetrain for that, given it's Ford components. Still, you'd have to fab a lot of stuff in house.
