Thanks for showing this. Before I bought my BRZ, I knew that I would want to boost it if possible. I think this kit will be perfect for me. Good torque early on and not so much power that I'm likely to blow it up.

I love my S5-210 Supercharger on my Gen2 BRZ.... they used my car as the R&D car and passed the new architecture and tuning to the guys for SEMA.... It kicks. First in the world, Perth, Australia.

@Chickentenddies I have short clips on my channel. I haven't had it on dyno yet. Sprintex had a base tune, and it was driven on the street and the data log was sent to sprintex they adjusted it, sent it back, driven again, and readjusted, which was done 4 or 5 time before sprintex were happy with the tune. I have had no issues in 18 months and have raced golf R, wrx, and turbocharged 86/brz and had no problem staying in front of them. The down low torque is great. The traction control will kick in even on the 3 to 4 shifts if you are too aggressive with it. I turn track mode on at every start up or traction control is too intrusive.

@@MrBiteus Nice build man, that thing sounds heavenly. I've always associated the supercharger while with muscle cars so it's weird hearing it on a tuner car. So how did you manage to stay in front of turbocharged 86/brz? Are you saying that the sprintex supercharger is better than turbos in terms of power? Or are you referring to on the track which is heavily dependent on skill of the driver. I doubt that a supercharged 86 can beat a turboed one that's running decent amount of boost but then again idk shit.

@Chickentenddies on my channel I have a video of me reeling in a wrx on the track but I've only had a street race with a turbo 86 from approx 35mph roll up to around 100 I had the jump giving me 3 or so car lengths and they only started to creep up on me in the higher speed when we had to back off for traffic. Maybe if they had the jump or a better driver/tune, who knows? They are close enough for me, and I prefer the supercharger.

have a look at = HARROP super charger for GR86 = much better than sprintex = compleye bolt on manifold with supercharger built into the casting ! subaru forever - for me !

We are taking Preorders for the first batch, the intake pipe and box on that car are 3d printed , so as oon as those and the bnew casting are wrapped up these will start to ship. Thinking by End of December

Yes It will have a little less MPG because superchargers are a parasitic draw system. They run off of the engine to spin and push air into the engine, unlike turbos that use exhaust ("free energy") to spin and provide boost. But let's be honest, if you wanted good MPG you would'a bought a Prius 😂

Plus you guys like messing up other people's states with your laws 😂 I guess turbo would be your best bet. Under normal operation and low amounts of boost they increase MPG, but flooring it they do decrease it.

There using there 210 supercharger that good for 300 wheel. I made near 230wheel with just a tune. The little supercharger is too small imo. I wish they would use there bigger one.

Supercharger have much better torque and they don't need to spool up, so zero turbo lag.

Go turbo :) Even old Garret GT2860 version spools from 2800 rpm and get full boost from 3200 rpm

Sprintex has oil leaks and overheating issues, google it

The real answer is that it doesn’t change the driving dynamics. Even small turbos that spool instantly hit you with a surge of torque. The supercharger will be linear with power and torque delivery so it’ll feel kind of stock but have power.
