Great video! You earned a subscriber. I have never done that to a slide, but the fact that it's the gun's cycle for reloading tells you what you can do or not do. If you have ever had a low-powder round or limp-wristed a shot it can stop the cycle.

Admittedly I am relatively new to firearms, only been shooting for two years now, but I just saw you do two things my instructor told me would either take off or seriously hurt a finger/hand. The thumb behind the slide at the firing pin is what shocks and confuses me the most because when I took my sister shooting and she had her thumb there, unintentionally, the instructor quickly stopped her before she fired because he said it would have taken her thumb off. I will never try these things but its interesting info to know so I thank you. Very impressive video.

Just looked it up. Why would you want to hurt my brain like that? $250 for a tube that goes over your slide and makes every holster that you own worthless. The "combat shroud," yet not one single combat holster manufacturer makes one to fit it.

Great video! I remember back when you posted the original video, thinking you were right but still kinda unnerving having a gun pointed at you even knowing it's unloaded. I also always figured you'd get hurt doing this, but better to have an ouchie finger than a hole in the face. Even if you messed up some seems like you'd still at least have the chance of getting the bullet away from vital areas, and only get hit in maybe the arm or side a little. Either way better than doing nothing! Edit: you're probably gonna take just as much shit from this video as the original, idiocy never ceases.

Thanks for the comment, and all if what you're saying is true. While I always warn people to be cautious in regards to any disarm...getting shot in the bicept is better than the head or chest. And even if you don't successfully take the gun...it's been fired, you kept it from cycling, and now you at least have a fighters chance.

Also, definitely with a Glock, if you can get the slide out of battery, it will not fire. So there are techniques for that in case of emergency

Loading carriage😂, I'm going to use that on my next video. But on a serious note, you should've mentioned not to do that wiith a revolver. Depending on caliber, the gas escaping from between the cylinder and force cone could possibly injure your hand. I may do that video eventually with a revolver.
