It’s like Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Cat Stevens, and Sharon Van Etten had a love child. Her voice and her expression is truly timeless. I’m in love

My grandson sent me this video and I am so glad he did! What a wonderful song and voice. So much of modern music seems to be the squawking of dollybirds. It is lovely to hear a song with such grit and beauty. It's like a cool summer breeze for the ears. Thank you for sharing. I have forwarded it to several of my friends. What a gift you have. Hold on tight, because I think you shall be in for a wild ride. Enjoy it.

If i could express my inner woman in a visual manner it would probably look just like this highly dramatic performance. A strong (because vulnerable) and slightly androgynous woman Beyond all nervous breakdowns but a hypomanic, shaman-like one that invokes a different kind of integrity and ontology, self-evident statement about oneiric artistic praxis that not only express but discover, uncover, and creates, lay grounds for the new and unknown dimension of reality.

I first heard this band about a week ago when they were opening for Ezra Furman. When she walked on staged on stage my wife remarked on how beautiful she was, to which I agreed and when she started singing, we were both blown away. Not to long after they finished they're set, My wife and I were sitting at the bar and I feel a hand on my shoulder and voice saying " excuse me" or something to that effect. At first I thought it was just a random women from the crowd but obviously I wouldn't be telling the story if it didn't turn out to be Grace. My wife and I spent a little time talking to her and the rest of the band, I even told them a bit of a joke " I thought you guys were Better than Ezra" Better than Ezra being a band from my childhood. Yes not the greatest joke, I was fairly inebriated at this point and it was the best I could do. They laughed, possibly of kindness, and one of them clearly didn't get it and said " You said that was a joke?" Anyway, discovering a new band at a live show is very cool and getting to meet them after made it a truly memorable experience.
