I was so thrilled to see Grace Potter and the Nocturnals making it real big. They are bringing back great bluesy Rock and roll. I'm just proud of them not just as a musician but also as a Vermonter. I'm glad to see I'm not the only Vermont artist who knows how to Rock and roll.

Whooo, I'm crying. This is so good. Not only is the video so gently visually appealing, it's such a beautiful rendition of this song. And who doesn't like a little harmonica?

During my growing, today it give me a chance to see the things I had in me, I could not see. Because I never taken the time to annualize myself in how I function with my every day life, but things came up to allow me to setback to think. That through the thinking it allowed me to see things that pushed me into a setback position, but I had those things in my life all the time. Feelings was never my thing, trying to hold on to something that do not fit in with my life, was no my thing. Trying to buy my way into someone life, just was not my thing. Being honest, and real was the way I always went to play in my life. See all the people I been around during my growing up life, male, or female did not show weakness around me to submit to anything to break them down in front of others. Was the only thing I saw, which I only have one impression in them, is to stand firm when they are right, or wrong when they being confronted in the eyes of others. Who not scare to admit their wrong, if it comes in a respectful way without the disrespectful way. That when I see the stupid things taking place today, I ask myself where did things go, or was it just a show, and reality came in to let me know. See by being busy all the time in my early days, a lot of things came through, but at a one percent in my eyes. To not believe that the ninety nine percent are doing the same, but I was wrong. By imprisoning myself to a life of fighting to get up to move away from the oppressed life. I did not have time for anything else that trying to take my movement from me, but the enemy can surround one without them knowing it, until it's to late. I will say people turned rotten over night, but I be lying because what I see. They just never had a chance to get deep into my life to change me to go their way. That I see now the whole system been living on the break down life. To always trying to find a victim to break their life down to fit into the breakdown life.

I agree we need a CD of this stripped down version. ...and along those same lines, part of the beauty of their music is the close relationship they have together. When I read posts of some that suggest that GP would do better to move on and work with more accomplished musicians, I realize they just don't get it. It is this raw talent and relationship that they have which makes their music all the better. So folks leave them alone! enjoy GP and her friends just the way they are.

@laurawoltag I saw Emmylou and the hot band in the mid 70's at a nice theater, and it was one of my favorite all time shows. Lots of energy. Grace Potter and the Nocturnals matches that. I saw them at the Fillmore last December. Great show. See it on VH1 June 4th...
