Taiwan has a whole plethora of interesting(?) words that describe men's style in relationships/life. Look out for words like 渣男,宅男,直男,媽寶,暖男. Those are all the ones I can think of off the top of my head

Thanks for giving this highly requested collab! Slangs can be hard to learn because they’re usually not in dictionaries, so it helps that you both explained all of these. And I like the shenanigans. I first finished all of Shuo’s video convinced that it was yours lol

The correct characters for the “母汤” at 13:59 is “毋通”. In Hokkien, it is read as /m̩³³⁻¹¹ tʰaŋ⁴⁴/.

I really like this. I'm not learning Chinese YET (so much to do, and such and so forth, excuses) but I might. And this surely helps. So pinyin are latin alfabet transcriptions of chinese words and zhuyin is the Asian version of that? And what is the difference between the traditional and symplified?

I am a total beginner in learning Chinese, but I have been to China several times on buisiness, and I absolutely love the place and all the people I have met. Although all the people I worked with were good at English, I am now trying to understand more about the Chinese language. Your videos, are amazing. BUT I have just understood that you are from Tiwan NOT mainland China. Does this mean that your language or pronounciation will be a little different?

Why does Pinyin do a very sloppy job? Changes in tones for 不, 一 and Sandhi are sometimes stated & sometimes not. Separation of syllables, capitalization, second syllable (not) neutral tone vary depending on the source. Yet I don't wanna deal with Bopomofo & Wide-Gales is so archaic now.
