Another piece of art... this year I became interested in inclusive baking for people with food restrictions or that just want to to avoid gluten and milk/egg protein and here in Brazil a popular substitute of eggs (besides fruit purees like applessauce) is white sweet potato (40 g for each egg) + vinegar + a stronger livener (baking soda for instance). It is citrus season here, I'll try this one. Thanks.

The color of this cake is simply amazing, looks so fresh, perfect for Summer...and you used turmeric powder! Hi Valentina, yes just a quarter tsp or the most slightly more than that you'll not notice the taste at all. Also the lemon fragrant is so strong that it already shadowing the tumeric. I somehow find it strange to add colouring to the curd. Thanks for being here, you have a wonderful weekend 💕🥰

Hey! I made the curd and frosting today (I followed another recipe for the cake portion). The curd turned out amazing, but the frosting needed some help. I added in a little lemon oil extract, double the sweetened condensed milk, and a about a cup of powdered sugar because there was an overwhelming buttery taste without it. Overall, this is a terrific recipe!

I think I've had all the metric and cups measurement in the description box. Gram and ml doesn't make a big difference so you can follow the g for oil. I used a 7 inch pan

Just normal fresh or whole milk to replace the lemon juice. If your batter is wet enough (not too thick), you don't really have to add in at all 😊

Hi. For 4 inch, you probably need only three quarter of this recipe. Means you'll multiply by 0.75 for each ingredient. For 6 inch, I'll probably advise that you just use the exact same measurements of this recipe as it'll just be a fraction of difference between 6 and 7 inch, not much. ☺️

Bottle is fine too, just make sure it's pure lemon juice 😊
