Grace my friends and I had a convo recently about the spoons (the theory of you have say 10 spoons a day, and doing an activity uses a spoon, sometimes maybe multiple, and once you use up your spoons you don't do anything else, it's a good way to understand your mental health limits, see how much certain things drain you, and also yes, don't over exhert yourself) Well one friend said how she wants to try cooking/baking but worries how many spoons it would take up, so myself and 2 other friends told her how we love cooking/baking so much, if anything it replenishes spoons, you just gotta do it often enough and love it strong enough, so same on the choice thing, life can overwhelm me so much, but not with food haha

Then a way we're opposites haha I rarely get to eat my own bakes, amd even when trying new things, i never usually taste test it, like recently i even baked cakes for board members and today 2 MP's, i didn't taste my bakes, i just went for it, I'll even sit there slightly panicking hoping it's good but don't test it XD Recently i made lemon drizzles and cookies, i ate lots of those, otherwise i honestly barely eat my bakes, so much of them i haven't had a piece of what i made!

After watching this video a couple of weeks ago, I decided to have a look for myself, they do all different plans but they do a low card slim and trim plan which I decide to try being both overweight and diabetic and I am really impressed, the food is really tasty, there are more options for breakfast other than the oats or the yoghurt which is lovely, there are cooked options such as the chicken and mozarella sausages or the egg muffins. The brownie snacks are lush as were the granola bites but didn't like the protein balls. It is quite expensive, however as these replace all your meals for 5 days and you only have to get food for the weekend (when the shelves aren't empty from panic buyers), it means that my usual weekly shop was much cheaper. I am on day 9 now and have lost 7lbs weight and my blood sugars have reduced so much that I have had to completely reduce my insulin doses. This plan just makes it easy!

Some people use personal meal prep people instead: a person cooks a week of meals in your home, or drops them off. It usually cuts down on waste because they'll reuse their containers or use your own Tupperware.

I make overnight oats in a container I can take on the go & they’re really filling, so I don’t need a snack 1hr later :)

I did a juice fast for two months a couple of years ago. So literally all I would consume are water and cold pressed veg juices. Throughout those two months, ALL I WOULD THINK ABOUT was food. I watched mukbangs and recipes all day. I think deprivation increases desire.

I was literally just thinking today of suggesting you try your own meal prep! I've been thinking about it a lot lately and wanted to see what you thought of it! That might be a cool vid! ❤️

You should do a similar challenge but hire or collab with someone else. Like a meal prep chef that makes your food for the week OR you meal prep someone else's (another KZbinr's??) food for a week and they meal prep yours

Granola and yoghurt is QUALITY honestly so much better than granola with milk - getting a fruity flavour yoghurt to have with fruity granola is my favourite thing 😍 breakfast is by far the best meal of the day honestly

grace don’t be so strict with the rules it’s okay to have the odd snack and if someone else is cooking for you technically you didn’t have to make a decision so it doesn’t count as cheating

I used to take my health and gym training very seriously from 2016-2019 (meal prepped myself, strict calories and routine etc.) but I absolutely didn't see the value in paying £100 per week for food at the time. However now because I absolutely love my career I work 24/7 and willingly stopped my training last year to work harder, it's a huge pain to shop, cook, eat etc. so I default to eating pizza or anything I can throw in the oven and leave to cook, or hardly eat anything at all not because my work has me forced to do that but because I literally just don't want to spend the time doing it when I can be doing something more worthwhile (more worthwhile than food?? I know). Strangely I really REALLY see the value in paying for healthy meal preps to be delivered now, even with the expensive cost and me no longer training, I think meal preps definitely cater towards people who have the money to spend or people who need time efficiency and it's worth it to them for the sake of time. I can eat pizza forever but sooner or later I'll die from it haha so think I'll try a meal prepping service. Thank you for a great video and your perspective!
