Thank you! This saved me today - the swing is the only thing that will settle my 7wk twins, so being able to fix it was a LIFESAVER.

Thanks for the video! Having never soldered before, this was a tall task. But I made sure to just cover the area with the solder and it worked! Baby will be rocking in style again

This worked . I will probably still get the fuse, my thought without looking at the schematic but based on where the fuse is at. The fuse protects the rest of the board from being destroyed, rather just get a fuse then destroy the board. Thanks for the help this was a great video!!

I’m just a mom trying to fix my daughters swing and I give up I don’t understand anything on your video. It’s became a manual swing my arm does all the work and this is the only place she stays asleep meanwhile I clean. 😏

In your case I would suggest you buy the replacement motor unit from Graco, part number 1910135. I paid $32 after shipping and taxes. It beats buying an entire new swing. By the way, the motor unit is the entire top section that the swing rests on (with the pipes included), so very minimal assembly required. Hope this helps. -Victor

this fixed it for me

I did exactly as shown in the video. Removed the fused and used solder as a bridge. It came back to life! However, within seconds, the chip on D6 (right below fuse), began to get very hot. A few seconds later, it visibly cracked and was smoking when power was connected to the unit. Any ideas on how to fix that?

D6 is a diode. Did any solder from the fuse touch the d6 solder when you powered up?

If I want to replace the fuse, where do I get the replacement?
@victork33973 ай бұрын
@@csh080 you would have to source it online somewhere. I wouldn’t bother if I were you. It’s easier to add an external fuse on the incoming power wires rather than trying to replace the one on the board. You have to have quite a bit of skill with micro soldering to replace such small components. If I had to add a fuse, I would add an external one like I said, that’s what I recommend.

@@victork3397 thanks, but what is amperage?
@MrPelletgunguy3 ай бұрын
@csh080 The Power supply is rated for 1000mA so prob just a 1amp.

Can you share more info about what an external one is and how to do that? @@victork3397

I wish you would have shown how to take it apart.

5x Phillips head screws need to be removed from the bottom of the unit. 4 are on the “rim” and one is directly beneath the battery compartment. Do not remove the hex screws on the rotating part, you will not be able to reassemble it if you remove these screws.
@victork33972 ай бұрын
I had to cut that part out to keep the video short.

@@victork3397 yeah I got it but I couldn’t figure out how to get the one piece off. We had to throw the swing part away. Kept the bouncer

@@victork3397 I’m glad I don’t do the hex screws. Haha I did think about it.
