Great video! I had a question as an older career switching dental student, does previous work experience in non-dental fields matter in the context of applying to dentist jobs?
@Joycethedentist4 жыл бұрын
personally I think its pretty cool (and fascinating) when I see a career change! It definitely doesn't detract. In fact, those who worked in other fields often bring a different perspective to the job.

Hi Joyce! Thanks for the video it really helped a lot. I just got my license and started looking at jobs. I'm seeing local medicaid dso jobs that offer a rather high min guarantee for new grads. do you have any experience with them and any advice for a new grad like me when it comes to these types of job listings? Thanks!

Thank you so much for sharing. These are very helpful tips. Can you let the office boss knows that you are considering to go to residency after working for a few years and you are here to pay the debts of dental school. Of course not a good idea to say it in a interview, when will be a good chance to tell them after getting the job. How common is this happening. Thank you.
