I need to read his book. The Eschenbach Parzival story starts in the African Kingdom of Zazamanc which is described as between Egypt and Bagdad and the Kingdom of Aksum is really the closest Kingdom that would fit that description and the people are described as dark African. The other aspect that is similar is the Grail Castle is described as being on a lake and the grail castle had a wounded Fisher King similar to the guardians of the Ark. Eschenbach said he got the original story from a Spanish Moor. Another interesting theme in Parzival is a reconciliation between Muslim and Christian.

Theory of what the Ark was able to do. Is the Ark an energy machine? Not electricity...but esoteric/quantum energy? I cite the walls of Jericho. They marched around the walls for 7 days. Repeating the same chant to make the walls come down. Does the Ark collect and amplify human consciousness? Is that why the army that carries the Ark is unstoppable? Do humans have a built in ability that increases in power with the more humans you have in a group? Isn't that the idea behind prayer? What would happen if 1000s of people prayed using the Ark? What about a million? What about a billion people?

Its not the box itself, but the powerful, radioactive Reactor type object, that was housed within the ark. The ark was just the Mobile vessel used by egyptians when transporting it. The main storage vessels were in the Serapeum and the Pyramids (Sarcophagus). The Israelites /(Hyksos) were "EXILED" (exodus) kicked out of upper egypt (Tanis) by pharaoh 'Ahmose' mainly for trying to overthrow the establishment of lower egypt and for stealing and using the (Ancient Wisdom). Or the power of the object in the Arc. At which time they already knew about the inner workings and interior of the holy of holyies (The Kings Chamber). They may have built a replica in solomons temple and the ark may have been stolen again and taken to Axum, but until scientists & researchers are allowed to study it, the mysteries of Egypt will never be solved. I believe this is the most important single object that holds all the answers of the early Egyptian culture, and to an advanced civilization hypothesis, that has been missing from the human timeline. This object has got to be studied.

The Levites had taken the Ark out of the Temple during the wars with Babylon and King Josiah asked them to bring it back but the Levites never did it - 2nd Chronicles. In 2nd Maccabees Jeremiah follows divine orders and hides the Ark, likely in northern Egypt at the time. The Christian Egyptians are the only ones known to have knowledge of the Ark since that time.

Problem I have is that he says the ark is the grail! Ark also housing a stone as the grail is also said to be but the Egyptians had the Ben Ben stone that like the Greek Omphalos is said to be the grail also by writers but it's like he ignores all connections and similarities about this and the similarities between all these religions just go out the window. I think it might be useful to consider the symbolism of both the "grail" and the "ark" Throughout Grail literature, it varies between being a cup, a stone, a cup made from a stone and so on. The Grail can be seen as a container for spirit or wisdom, just as the temple can also be seen as a container for spirit or wisdom, and so can the Ark be seen as a container of wisdom. In the case of the ark, it had the Ten Commandments, some Manna and the Rod of Arron in it, the Ten Commandments can be seen as the wisdom of God coming to man and being written on stone. again, I am talking symbolism rather than the reality of physical structures
