Apparently, it had been cooking for about an hour 'n' a half before I came home. (thanks to my wife!) Dear Emma, I guess I managed to make up my own examples to demonstrate the lesson was internalized by me completely! But if I mistook anywhere, please, correct me!

When I left a house this morning it was snowing. While I was studying at the academy there was more snow, unfortunately. Finally, I left the academy and went to the tram stop. But there were only twelve standing. An old woman said she had been waiting for the tram for over an hour, I was shocked when I heard about that. The streets were covered with snow especially the one I was on, it was quite atmospheric. When I was waiting for the tram I was paying close attention to my feet because I was afraid to slip in the snow. It had been snowing all morning so the streets were uncomfortable to walk there. The road was full of cars and it was traffic jams. One man told me the reason for the traffic jams It was a car. All the snow had caused a car to slide through a red light and into oncoming traffic. The man, who told me about that, had already called the emergency traffic but they hadn't arrived at the scene yet. A nurse, who had witnessed the accident, was helping injured people. The evening news had warned about wild weather but the warnings hadn't convinced people from driving. By the time the emergency services got to the scene, the nurse had treated the injuries already, she kept their lives and the drivers had exchanged insurance details there

Hi Emma, how are you? I have four different answers from yours, but I can't say I'm wrong. As you said, in some of them there is more than one possible answer. I really enjoy your lessons Emma. Yesterday, when I was driving to work, a big truck got stuck on the middle of the road. There were many people trying to help move the truck to the side of the road, but that truck was too heavy and no one could move it. A young woman had been yelling at the trucker the entire time because she had a date, she had been waiting for this date for a long time and then out of nowhere she got caught up in this truck situation. An old woman had been trying to calm her down for a few minutes but she seemed desperate. Another person, an elderly man, tried to return from the road and collided with another car. The owner of the crashed car was a big muscular man who got out of his car to see what happened. I tought the big man was going to punch the old man in the face, but insted he started to calm down everyone down. By this time, the trucker had already collided with a hight voltage pole. All this time I had been watching the escene. I was petrified just to see how people could lose their cool so easily. But then, tha big muscular man headed to the place where the trailer had been stuck the entire time and offered to help get the truck out. Apparently he had been working for a truck company some time ago and the trucker turned out to be a rookie. So I got out of my car ( by then, I had already called my boss) and tried to imitated the big muscular man and started to calm the people down and offered to help get the truck out by directing the driver, the big man. And then the police, the fighterfighters and ambulances began to arrived, somebody had called them. A not so big problem had turned into a great show. The End. Thank you Emma.

Emma, although I can get very distracted by your charms and looks, I do pay attention to your teachings, so, If I may, I'd like to summarize the verb tenses: there're three main tenses, past, present and future. Each one can be of four different modes: simple, perfect (i.e. complete), continous or perfec continous. Therefore there're twelve tenses overall. We use "do" as the auxiliary verb for the simple mode, "have" for the perfect mode, "be" for the continious mode, plus "will" to indicate the future. It's almost mathematical. Let's say I want to use the future perfect continious tense (picked a particularly fifficult one, I guess). I can say: by the end of this month I will have been learning english from the best of the best of all teachers, i. e. Emma, for more than a year! By the way, have I said thank you yet? I'm sure I have, but in any case, thanks again, you're, well you know... simply the best! Keep up the great work! All my love ... 😘😍
