It could not compete againts more polished but older Starcraft 1 and Warcraft 3. AND EA very quickly abandoned all C&C games after they failed the be E-sports even screwing up the single-player balance with their MP-focused patches. And the C&C4 cash grab failed and killed the series. In SC2 and WC3 campaigns have different balances for units.

The thing about Futu, and most high level players is (BikeRush aside), they _mostly_ only play other high level players outside of tourneys. High level players don't do simple strats, like Reck rushes or all-ins, because it's considered cheese, and/or boring to high-level players. They do mind-games, counters and switches. Thus, players like Futu aren't _as_ prepared or practiced for the 'simple' strats, because they don't see them much, and they carry that mindset into tourneys with them, expecting mind-games and super-strats, forgetting that most mid-tier players still use those simple rushes. The downside of the mid-tier rushers is, they're not used to the higher level players who survive the rushes.

Literally, lol. Once Futu figured out Lumos was just rushing he whooped 'em 3 games in a row to take it. TBH Shok almost beat Lumos. He's not quite a one trick pony but all I saw him do was Reck rush or flame rush followed by man spam, all in mcv sell, or mass Laser scorps. Anyone like Futu, Drive, Masterleaf, BartJones, Bike, Rex, Senna, or Space will figure someone like that out in a few games. I've been considering donating a decent sum of money for a 2v2 tourney with teams I pick or doing a KW tourney but only people who main RA3 or Generals can enter LOL. I've been enjoying watching Gwaspari play and see him try to hit people with the mothership call in.

2:10:24 - maybe Futurama didn't quite catch the reckoner. With the Engineer dying too it may have been he was distracted by something and wasn't looking, or maybe the riflemen were just barely too late to catch the reckoner diving to the side, or maybe Futurama was too late in looking for it. Maybe he thought he had more time than he did. I have no idea.

God i love flame tanks so much. Theyre such a strong, tactical unit. Reminds me of Captain Kirrahes speech in Mass Effect 1. "Think of our heroes: the Silent Step, who defeated a nation with a single shot." That ONE perfect flame tank can deal such massive damage without much of a fight.

Lumos' aggression was good, and like the T1 spam served him well, the issue is... Futurama expected this, and had solid ways to counter it almost every time. So in short his greatest asset, that aggression and wall of guns, turned against him really in the end. Well played to all players, this was a joy to watch. And thank you for Hosting Sybert, you are a freaking awesome commentator to listen to.

I loved the series and was rooting for futurama since the begining! The only Scrin player on the scene that also plays other factions and doesnt go for cheese/spam agro builds, and instead plays defensively, scouts , plays reactively to the opponent and shows different stuff every game( Unlike Lumos who legit does the same 2 moves every single games , hoping for different results ig). I was hoping for more Scrin and its factions games, but i know Scrin is just too late game oriented to work vs a player who spam you with ultra early aggression every single game

Does anyone know how I get RA3 and Tiberium Wars to run well on Windows 11? I have scoured the internet for answers but can find none. The problem is that the game can only run on the lowest settings, and even then it runs terribly. Any answer would be appreciated.

Don't think you can, it's hard-coded. I remember there was a third-party software that can unlock the framerate without everything going fast-forward, but last I checked it was behind a paywall.

Game is running at 30, footage is interpolated up to 60 in the edit. There is a mod that allows the game to run at 60, but it is a bit glitchy, and it doesn't work with any replays that were played at 30.
