The Spring Drive on the new Titanium Lake Sewa is on a whole new level. 3 months and it hasn’t deviated a second for me yet, and that seems about typically. People are starting to detect slippage of about a half second at the 100 day mark. I mean +- 2 seconds a year is amazing. Blows Rolex out of the water.

@@davidszweda4371 the irony of a GS owner calling Rolex overpriced 😂 at least if I sell my Rolex I’ll get my money back….. enjoy losing 60% on your Seiko Rolex designs are at least original, seiko rip off other watchmakers…they copied the omega speedmaster bracelet with a clasp with as much quality as a fossil watch I’ll give them credit for their dials but the oversized cases, rip off designs and trashy bracelets and clasps are a joke

I never get tired of checking the accuracy of my GS SBGA461. If I don't wear it it loses about 1 sec every three days. If I wear it 24hrs/day it gains about 1 sec every two days. Awsome !!

That’s a very technical way of saying that a time graph or doesn’t work on a quartz watch!

It's not a quartz at all. Unless there are automatic quartz movements, this is not a quartz.

It is a quartz watch it's regulated by quartz therefore it's a quartz watch. Any watchmaker worth their salt will tell you it's a quartz watch.@@LeSpamton

Yeah the new Dual impulse escapement like on the White Birch SLGH005 can’t be properly read on a timegrapher… they need to invent something else for their own watches lol

putting a watch with a 9sa5 movement on a timegrapher will only give you beat error and rate. The amplitude reading is basically meaningless because the timgrapher cannot interpret the sound of the dual impulse escapement. Same with an omega with co-axial escapement or any number of exotic escapements. Unless the timegrapher you're using has a program for the specific escapement type of your watch and you chose the correct lift angle the amplitude reading is useless.

It's the same as a Hamilton electric or Tissot electronic watch. This was a precursor to quartz watches. There's nothing unique about it. As nice as GS watches are their depreciation is huge.
