These are exactly my two options about a year ago. Ended up picking the GS solely because of how the AD representative treated me. Lovin' every second with my Shubun!

Hi there, congats, it is an awesome timepiece. I do wonder though about this GS, is it really a scratch magnet? How does it hold after a year, and is this your GADA watch, or you just wear it on occasion?

Other than the teak dial - which I’m not a fan of - I have to say Omega works better as a sports watch. In addition to the lume, it has a very robust movement. It strikes me as the more solid choice for a watch designed to be an everyday piece.

I have datejust 41 and this GS , both in blue dial. There’s just something about this GS , I am wearing it more than my datejust . It looks and feels very very premium and I have not seen a video which can demonstrate what I mean when I see it in real life . For those who are thinking of buying this GS, you will have no regret as a everyday watch

GS looks dressier and the Omega AT looks sportier because of the dial. GS has the smaller case and the better finished watch. I have a 6.5inch wrist so ill go with the GS

Grand Seiko, without a question, though I do like the Omega color-matched date wheel. But the GS just looks more "polished" in every sense.

GS has a s glass case back but kthen puts a massive motif on it so you cant see movement away. Why bothered ?

Generally I prefer a watch with longer lugs and smaller case like the GS, so It’s the GS for me, also I am not to fond on the yacht deck stripes on the Omega.

Honestly don't say this often, GS takes this one for me, especially if I'm going to wear it as more everyday office watch which is what I would end up doing with these. GS even more if it were a spring drive.

This is a tough one. Like the plank look of the omega dial. But the case shape, and finishing of the GS is nicer to me. The omega looks more like a sporty every day watch. The GS a little dressier. ?????? Send them both to me for evaluation 😂

Why? Do you actually buy these to be able to tell the time in the dark? 🤣🤣 Let's be honest with ourselves here. We buy these because they're a gorgeous piece of art that can fit on our wrists. Not because they can glow in the dark. These are far past the whole "tool" watch debate. If you're looking for a true tool watch, you're looking in the wrong segment lol.

The GS needs no lume. Those dial markers individually draw in as much ligur as possible with those clean cuts, my friend.

I prefere too tge omega,the only probleme is the price,i always say why buy an omega if you can have a rolex for the same price? Why buy an opel if you can have a mercedes?...

For me the green GS GMT beats the green Omega Seamaster hands down but this blue Omega Aqua Terra easily beats the blue GS.
