Over the years, Tim has shown a number of the amazing automata made by Laurence and Angela St.Leger that he has in his collection. See www.laurenceandangelastleger....
Tim used to meet up with Laurence and Angela a couple of times a year at the Dolls House and Miniatures Fair. Sadly, Laurence St.Leger passed away recently, and Tim decided to make this video as a tribute to his work. Tim has over 50 of Laurence's miniature automata in his collection, and here they are!
MUSIC
The three music tracks have been licenced from www.bensound.com/ and they are 1) Happy Fingers - Fiddlesticks 2) Yari - Dr Yes and 3) Happy Fingers - Good Mood.

Real sorry for your loss tim, I remember watching a video titled ‘Tim’s miniatures’ when you displayed a lot of your friends work that he had created with his wife. At the start of this video i can tell that you have suffered a very great loss, but it is fantastic to see that you can relive the memories and joy that you have created and discover with him and his creations.

Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. What a wonderful and creative Craftsmen he was I have watched your older automata vids several times and searched KZbin for them by name multiple times. So glad to see this and always enjoy your videos!

I actually searched for him specifically on google when you mentioned him in videos years ago. I was really impressed with his work. I also studied watchmaking for a few years (as an apprentice until I figured out I didn't have it in me to do such precise work daily) Watchmaking is one of the only trades that requires a Craftsman to have all aspects of his life balanced. It's the only way for someone to have a long and consistent career in watchmaking. He was very talented and exceptionally skilled.

I am sorry for your loss Tim. However, as you stated, the legacy your friend St. Leger left behind, is one that will stand out for many years to come. And based on your collection, he will be bringing joy for even longer. What better thing than to live on after death as a playful laugh, a look of wonder and awe from those tinkering with your creation...
