Just started to re-read the manga, bc it bothers me that people say Zoro hates pirates, especially after the reveal that his father was killed by one. What he told Luffy was this: "I followed a pirate I was after out to sea, but couldn't find my way back to my village. So, I made best of things and went after pirates that were in the area. I had to earn money somehow." Zoro only was after one pirate and then hunted others to get money for necessary things, since he couldn't find his way back home. He does not say he hates pirates, he does say that he didn't want to be one, because he couldn't see what good it would do for his goal.

So, I once read the theory that Zoro actually has a perfect sense of direction, but always runs in the opposite direction of what his senses tell him, because he thinks the most danger and therefore the most opportunities to improve himself are that way.

Did you know that behind Zoro's left eye is actually the sharingan. Within the time skip, he got lost and found his way into the Naruto anime and trained there until the two years were up. He is truly the greatest swordsman in the universe.

Fun fact: Since zoro's king of hell, or devil attacks uses Indian words Asura(a devil race not necessarily evil and also prays god), he is actually quite a religious man from prespective of Indian mythology and may very well be worshiper of God Shiva whose avatar God Hanuman is inspiration of Luffy's devil fruit and some of luffy's character. His nine sword style could be inspired from Ravana(a scholar asura who's called evil because of one big evil he did) or from bramha, which either way can be seen as blessing from shiva and goes vey well with luffy's abilities.

Pica in portuguese here in Brazil (I don't think Portugal or other places use pica as similar to dick) was extra funny because they were mocking his laugh, but for us was the name as well. Crunchyroll always use in the subtitles the ''-sama'', but when the members of the Donquixote crew refered to him as Pica-sama the subtitles made sure to say ''The Great Pica'' just because of his name meaning here in Brazil

The reason Zoro has one eye closed in post time skip is not because of an injury. He does have a scar, but i'm pretty sure he can open that eye and still use it. This was done to make Zoro even more "piraty" than he already was. Zoro is the most "piraty" looking member of the strawhats: his clothes, his earrings, the fact he uses swords which most pirates used in our equivalent time period and the closed eye. The closed eye is a way to give Zoro an eye patch without giving him an eye patch. Sailors used a single eye patch back in the time of wooden sailing ships because of the lack or very dim lighting below deck. You would put the eye patch over one eye when on the deck because there was sunlight and remove the eye patch when going below deck to have an eye already accustomed to darkness. If you had to go back and forth below and above deck, this would be very useful to be able to see more quickly. So now, Zoro has an eye closed to get it used to darkness and Zoro has a peculiar relationship with darkness, especially with Enma. One day, Zoro will open that closed eye and it's gonna be awesome. I secretly hope it will be in a fight against Blackbeard.

I believe (theory but I'm so convinced) Sanji's element is fire and Zoro's is air they represent different philosophies, Sanji is doing things based on how he experiences the world from action like building his strength from discipline and Zoro from the heart, from what he loves and is commited to- his sensei explained something like this when wanting to cut nothing and anything he just protects what he loves, whereas Sanji is more reactive with his principles they're built like habits

Not sure about manga but in anime zoro did calls sanji by his name twice. The first time he does it was in Little Garden arc, when zoro and sanji dragging dinos behind them and unexpectedly meet each other, and the second time he does call sanji I don't remember it well but I think after timeskip in sabody island when zoro sleeps on another pirate ship 🤔

I've checked that thing about Sanji. I guess it depends on the translation version, as I couldn't see it in the official Vis. But in the colored version, Zoro DOES call him ONCE by his name. I think it was in the Long Ring Long Land arc, before starting the Groggy Ring, ch. 310, when he tells Sanji he looks good with the ball on his head.
