Nobody forced him to do that. Grandma then got up on her Christian high horse and tried to make it as painful and humiliating as possible by forcing him to tell his family members face to face and one at a time. You know, I've met some truly excellent people who happen to be devout Christians but they just live the example without bringing it up every 5 mins. The so-called Christians who go around with the "In case of rapture this car will be driverless" bumper stickers and the Jesus fish, and yammer on about "knowing the Lord" I wouldn't want to have lunch with, never mind spending eternity with! 🌻The Lightroom with Greta As for your male and female slaves whom you may have: you may buy male and female slaves from among the nations that are around you. You may also buy from among the strangers who sojourn with you and their clans that are with you, who have been born in your land, and they may be your property. You may bequeath them to your sons after you to inherit as a possession forever. You may make slaves of them, but over your brothers the people of Israel you shall not rule, one over another ruthlessly. (Leviticus 25:44-46) You who are slaves must submit to your masters with all respect. Do what they tell you-not only if they are kind and reasonable, but even if they are cruel. For God is pleased when, conscious of his will, you patiently endure unjust treatment. Of course, you get no credit for being patient if you are beaten for doing wrong. But if you suffer for doing good and endure it patiently, God is pleased with you.(1Peter 2:18-20) I’m sorry to say that your cherry picked quote that doesn’t even mention slavery is less than convincing. God has expressed several times from his own words,from his sons word, or the word of his own book that he is absolutely for slavery and thinks it is just. He also disgustingly tells you and his followers to live a life of pain and do good. Doing good is pretty benevolent but the that he also wants you to live in pain is obviously malicious.

Christopher Nedley You are acting like it was wrong throughout human history. It was only really Christians that decided it was immoral and wrong. Ancient Romans and Greeks alowed and even ENCOURAGED homosexuality! so maybe you are the one that is wrong. And by the way, the brother and sister thing is called incest, And that was discouraged in most eras and still is! As well as there being multiple bad side effects due to birth from incest, While being gay doesn't cause much of anything other than happiness between the many couple that are gay. And unless you can give me a good and scientific reason why it is bad to be gay, you need to stop talking, because nobody needs to hear your lies and illegitame excuses for why you think it's wrong. Otherwise, have a good day.
@okimlistening2u7 жыл бұрын
Christopher, Jawann comes from a time period where we knew little or nothing about human sexuality. Their ignorance is the excuse for them. But you, Christopher, come from a time when science, philosophy and theology know about the mistaken understanding of the past. I can assure you as a counselor with a Master's degree in the Humanities and with 30 years of clinical practice, there is no reason to have a negative feeling about sexual orientation of any individual. The dark ages of ignorance are over and we can be free in the truth. Don't continue to hold on to the mistakes of the past that may have been passed on to you by family, religion, or uneducated society. The election of Donald Trump is a perfect example of what happens when people are uninformed. I wish you only good things.........Ray

Dyiorra Gray here’s a correction: people living in poverty are more likely to quit school, do drugs, be homeless etc. because they can’t afford to live an affluent life. Black people are disproportionally living in poverty because their ancestors were slaves less than 200 years ago. That’s their great-grandparents. The American government did not offer reparations for their war crime against African-Americans, so of course many are still living in poverty. Also, the word ‘blacks’ is offensive, it’s black people, and, if you are LGBT+ or an ally, you should recognise that being a minority is a struggle, and people are happy to say terrible things about you purely because of who you are, not what you have done. These negative stereotypes about black people Must Stop.
@thecraplordsell45753 жыл бұрын
@@fenellarh6962 If they want these negative stereotypes to stop than they must stop it themselves. Stereotypes are not going away because of feelings. Blacks needs to stop complaining for every problem they created and do better. Till than, screw them

Many of these rules are broken by Jews and christians alike today, for example, one of these laws was to cut the sides of your hair, as it was a common pagan worship ritual back in the day. So as long as you aren't Gay as a pagan ritual, the Bible's aight with it, fam.

I’m a Christian and I believe that homosexuality, when in a loving, dedicated, faithful and God centered marriage, is perfectly fine in the eyes of the Lord. God condemns Lust, rape, sex slavery, addictions to sex, and disloyalty, not homosexuality. That word was even added into the Bible until MUCH MUCH later! Let’s not forget things such as cultural conventions, the Old Testament law, before Jesus fulfilled it and MANY MANY more factors which come into play. Please, take a second look at some of these verses, objectively and with an open mind. Study the original Greek words which were there before homosexuality was added, study what society was in this time and find reliable resources. You might be surprised what you find!
