Grandma's LAST CATCH. Crab Catch and Cook In Memory of Mom Mom!

The video starts by setting Stone Crab Traps with my dad and Grandma. We check them for a couple weeks and before I got to finish the video, My grandma passed away. She loved catching crabs and had 40 in her freezer we had planned to eat together on her 90th Birthday. We decided to all enjoy her "Last Catch" of blue crabs with a lot of our family during a memorial for Mom mom. She truly lived life to the fullest and this is a video in Honor of her to share with you a little of the amazing woman she was. Love you Mom mom!

Wow....on my 50th birthday an angel was called home. 😢 Oh Brooke my deepest condolences to you and your family. Your grandma was an amazing woman. Since the first video that she appeared in she touched my heart. My heart is full of healing prayers for your dad. I lost my daddy 2 years ago and though I go on a piece of my heart was taken. I would like to thank you all for sharing her with us here on KZbin. I lost my last grandparent (grandmother) back in 1985 and being able to share yours meant a lot. Rest In Peace Mom Mom and let them know the Queen of crabbing has arrived. Whenever I eat crabs I’ll always remember her. I’m a 51 year old man and I don’t think I’ve cried in 25+ years but this video tore me up. Wow!! Great memory's and hard days. the summer before I lost my dad I took him fishing for the last time. I set up a chair in the boat and we just moved from shade to shade and he caught bluegills until it got too hot. That night I fried fish for him and shortly after that he was dianosed with pancreatic cancer and passed away a few months later. I almost had decided I was too busy to take him that week. Thank God I did. Let's remember the fun with your Mom Mom and my Dad. 4 years later I am crying as I write this and as I watched you tell about her. Thank you

You could tell from her appearances in both yours and Victor's videos that she was loved dearly by your entire family and was incredible. Your Dad talking about how they would talk every day about her latest crab catch was very touching. It has been many years since my Grandma passes away but she still impacts my life with all the amazing memories I have of our time together. They say that someone never dies as long as they are remembered. Please take the time to embrace all of the memories you have and keep your grandma alive in your thoughts. So here I am watching this amazing video, in the middle of the night, 2 years later. Because I just came across it. And I am crying my eyes out. I loved this. We weren’t a seafood family, but I’m in Alabama and after loosing my mom, and my dad 4.5 years ago, this just brings back all the memories of my mom cooking for her big family.
