Grandma Gloria, this recipe was a hit. I made this Dressing/Stuffing and my family loved it. I did it exactly as you said. However, since I was only making a small pan, I didn't add the extra cornmeal and jiffy cornbread mix. I only used the jiffy cornbread mix and used the two eggs as suggested. Y'all! If you want to use this recipe for Christmas, I promise you, it's going to change your whole cooking and eating experience. Thanks so much Grandma Gloria.

Similar to people behind the scenes like teleprompters, you don't see them but they know where the missing pieces are at or where info is lacking so he helps her. Like acting alone or trying to play 2 parts. She is speaking to him b/c its hard to speak to an empty camera. Believe me it helps for him to there.

We do not use sweet corn bread mix my grandmother cooked for schools, her family. She never used jiffy always cornbread like white lily or what ever jiffy is sweet. My mom never use jiffy. Neither do i.to each his or her own. I make my own stock.might have broth in case I run out. This is a first for me using jiffy and flour.we use meat in our stock..celery, onions and bell pepper in stock give it extra flavor, turkey necks. Everybody is different not all southern cooks, cook a like. Respect. And positivity always..n.j.
