Yes, currently it is only “remote access” through the cloud portal. I think GS is working on a beta to allow for more. I thought I read this somewhere, but I’ve been known to be wrong. Lol. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for watching Frank. Great question! I find the UI itself to be extremely clean and super easy to navigate. GWN.cloud is Grandstream’s cloud portal. All devices can be connected to and managed through the portal. However, the “one pain of glass” environment is in its infancy. Unifi definitely superior as far as “one pain of glass” at this point. Just my opinion.

I thought that a switch is a layer 2 device and doesn't have an IP?

Hello. Thx for watching. A switch can be layer 2 or layer 3. All devices have both IP addresses & Mac addresses.
